I think the right shade of purple can act as a neutral — especially dark, plummy-colored velvet pillows.
i am sorry to say, but i love purple more than any other color, i even have an own blog for that. it makes me bad days more lightful, so we started collecting purple pictures for grey days ;o)
whatever, i am not sure what i like most in this picture: the pillows, the flowers or the “table” – i love all such old things with a soul.
hope you dont mind if i catch this picture to put it in my “lilablau”(purpleblue)-blog ;o)

I’m no big fan of purple, but this is an inviting picture to curl up on the cushion-overloaded sofa and enjoy a good book. Love the dark-wood vintage of a coffee table. The view outside looks great too.
