I posted about the Designhouse Stockholm lace bicycle baskets a couple months ago and absolutely adored them. Recently, D*S noted that they are now being carried in the states at CB2. With no bicycle, this was my chance to make this thing into something else functional. So, my awesome husband attached it to my work table by installing a towel bar to the underside of one end…and voila! I’ve got the scrap bin I’ve been needing and the lace bicycle basket I’ve been wanting…

It looks like CB2 is sold out. Know of any other sources? I was looking for one for my girlfriend’s omafiet…it’d be perfect. I’m sad now.
