I posted a snippet of work yesterday by Australian artist Catherine Swan and wanted to share this beautiful paper butterfly piece that seems to be her signature work. The butterflies are hand-cut from vintage magazines between the 50s and 60s evoking a nostalgic array of colors.
This is a wonderful idea to make oneself!
so pretty
why can’t I ever come up with something like that? 🙂
so cute!! but seriously, $1150? i agree — diy, and save about $1145.
A lot like this British artist whose work I’ve loved for a looooooong time …

Why $1150? I can make that myself and to my liking, not understanding the price at all….it just irks me. I agree Jan!

My daughter & I made these the other night with solid color construction paper – they look beautiful and they took all of 20 minutes to create!
