I’ve been doing some extra research on handwriting lately for a project I’m working on and love the use of this all natural handwriting (in pencil!) in these pieces for Jaime Oliver…designed by the packaging gurus over at Pearl Fisher.

These are wonderful! I especially love the sea salt-what a brilliant packaging idea.
It’s a delight to see handwritten design and art – there is something extra special about something that is one of a kind and carefully crafted by longhand. x
These illustrations were created by the brilliant british Illustrator Marion Deuchars. Its worth checking out her website http://www.mariondeuchars.com especially if you are interested in handwriting.
so beautiful…nice to see handwritten craft and so well done…i would love to see more of it emerge and get away from the computer for awhile.

can’t wait to see what this project is …. lovely handwriting, to be sure.
Have you seen the credits for his new show? It’s on the Food Network at something silly like 7 am on Sunday. Anyway. They’re very nifty, they look like somebody scribbled them in a notebook, and there are cute little sketches of food and things that look like production notes. I’m a big old design geek, so I was checking to see if it looked like a handwriting font or real handwriting.
(I think it’s real handwriting. Could be wrong, though.)
