…continuing with the polka dots from earlier today…how awesome is this trash bag installation by adrian kondratowicz. Installed in 2008 on the streets of new york, it was a vivid art intervention for urban beautification and environmental awareness.
trash: any color you like…

Love this!!! I wish we actually could use trash bags like this.. I live in NYC and you get fined for anything thing other than black for trash and clear for recycling…
Fab, fab, fab! I love it!
This is amazing!! Love.
even trash can Pretty in Pink!!
woww so colorful! a much better looking way to store trash than dingy black or green.
Fun! I’d hate to stuff that prettiness into our dingy old curbside pick-up containers.
My city requires us to buy yellow city trash bags. I can tell you on trash day, it all still looks like trash.
Well, in Melbourne Australia everyone uses hard bins to put out their rubbish – so your actual bags can be any colour you like. (Many people re-use plastic grocery bags. They’ve also started selling scented bin liners – so our bins can smell pretty too.)
This is way colourful compared to the usual.

How fabulous!! We’re stuck with wheelie bins in the UK – a black one and a green one -hardly inspiring. But hey a hot pink polka dot wheelie bin . . .
