I miss those days when magazine covers used to look like this! Not that I was around then, but it would have been beautiful to see these in person. Back in the 1930's Helen Jameson Hall illustrated these amazing covers for Mademoiselle.

i studied fashion illustration in college and was so amazed at what used to be in magazines and newspapers. beautiful art in every issue and it was just thrown out at the end of the day. incredible… and missed (not that i was around when it was current either)
