As we get ready for our move to LA in a couple months, I'm on a red-hot search for a place to live in Los Feliz. I have a serious love of well-kept and remodeled mid-century modern homes, so I had to share these amazing images with you {of homes that are currently on sale}. We're sticking to a rental for right now, but maybe if I save up lots of my pretty pennies, I can dream about a home like one of these some day…

  1. Have you heard of Pad Mapper? It’s a great visual way to look for rentals…it helped us a lot when we moved in January. It basically puts Craigslist ads on a map, so you can see where they are all located in ONE place. Very clever, I must say.

  2. I’m sure you have already been told this, but there is a magazine called “Atomic Ranch” that is dedicated to mid century modern homes. My hubby and I were lucky enough to buy one and love this mag.

  3. Ahhh! How fun…love that area! Great choice..nice eats and fun bars…And LOVE mid century anything right now…perfection

  4. Yay! Great choice! I used to be from Los Feliz before I got married and settled down in Rancho Cucamonga (Ca). Awesome neighborhood!:)

  5. i’ve lived in LA all of my life (by choice because i LOVE it here), and i’m STILL waiting for my pennies to add up to a house like these 🙂
    good eye missy!

  6. I second the Atwater Village vote. It’s right next to Los Feliz and has the same feel, but is much less congested and a little “sleepier.” All kinds of great little places are cropping up here.
