I adore this Italian children's book by William Wondriska. Originally published in 1963 {and soon to be re-released}, the reader meets objects and animals tied by the string in alphabetical order.

children’s books are the best for whimsical ideas and fun palette inspiration. I find myself returning to old classics more as I get older. xo
i really love these illustrations. the whole idea of the string attaching one thing to another is incredibly poet visually and conceptually. thank you for sharing.

so simple and whimsical, i love the string idea!
I love the old style illustrations and prints of old books. I have an old Alice in Wonderland book from when my mother was a child that I cherish.
Love this. How pretty would it be in a child’s room?
