eat off the table in {fountain valley}…

The other night, we found ourselves at The Red Claw in Fountain Valley for a fun night with family & friends. While I love fancy places and fancy dining, I also love it when I can roll my sleeves up, get messy, and eat with my hands. This hole-in-the-wall Louisiana-style seafood restaurant offers a mix of shrimp, crayfish, clams, and oysters cooked in spicy, cajun garlic sauce and then served up in plastic bags plopped down on the table. The tables are covered in plastic tablecloths which also serve as your plate. It's pure, unadulterated eating fun for big kids and little kids alike.
