in her closet: I just love the modern cut and the vintage inspired print on my Marni dress. It makes me feel like a sexy couch from the Brady Bunch. I always get compliments when I wear it because it's so unusual.
in her casa: I was given these great Carl Aubock vintage book ends from the 50's by the lovely ladies in my office. I love the brass color. And I love the amorphous and sculptural (yet geometric) shape. They do double-duty as sculptures and functional objects (I love that because even functional should be special). I also feel like my dress and book would get along on a fundamental level – they could discuss design!

I have a skirt from Anthropologie someone told me reminded them of curtains. I wasn’t sure whether to take that as a compliment but I think that now I will.
