The departments stores in Japan are amazing and really do have a great mix of high end, lower end, and boutique designers—something you don't typically find in department stores in the States. While visiting, my eyes kept going to two brands in particular, Mint Designs and Eley Kishimoto. Both have such an incredible use of color, pattern, and mixing unexpected patterns in one outfit.
You have been tempting me to go to Japan now, well I’ve been wanting to go but it’s on our sort of 10 year ‘travel plan’. Now I feel like making it a priority…..! 😀
Love the mix of patterns too! Eley Kishimoto also designed a Duvel glass that I recently saw posted on http://www.ILoveBelgium.be
i’am one of biggest fan of mix pattern from japanese designer. unusual & personal as their trademark i guess.

As cliche as I’m about to sound, once my eyes fell on these designs, I became smitten. I love pattern mixing and colors, and these have all of those but don’t overdo it. They’re amazing!
