The Eveleigh in West Hollywood has quickly become my go-to spot for meeting friends lately with it's central-ish location, tasty bites, and amazing rustic ambiance. With the recent addition of brunch, we met friends for a lovely morning of eating and chatting on what must have been one of the most beautiful and sunny LA days lately. And, we even spotted a certain Flying Nun there!
And then, without realizing it, we visited one of my "two spots" that day as we headed to Paul Smith afterwards to check out their sale! — Joy

I didn’t think I could ever miss LA but your pics and adventures start making me nostalgic!
I have to make a point of going there. It’s on my list. Thanks.
Love the communal benches! Looks like a divine way to spend the day.
And is that a candied banana on the stack of pancakes?? Wow. :8)

Everything looks so wonderfully decadent! I would love to take my girlfriends here for brunch. Thanks for the tip!
Ohhh this really makes me miss LA….beam me back, Scottie!
I agree with a comment above. This looks ALOT like the restaurant from the movie “The Kids are Alright”. My hubby and I vacationed in LA this past Sept., so wish I would have known about this place then. Well maybe next time.
It looks delicious…I am hungry now!
OH this makes me want to be back on the West Coast so I could pop up to L.A. for a trip to this eatery! Ideas for my next visit to my parents’, I suppose… 🙂
Two things I love: brunch and the outdoors. And all steps away from my apartment? You done did it. The Eveleigh is definitely going on my “to do” list!

Oh j’ai faim !
what type of camera do you use to shoot? and do you treat it before you post?
Hi Leslie,
For the photos that I take{noted at the bottom of image}, Iuse a Nikon D3000 with the 18-55mm lens. The newer version of my camerais theD3100. Its a lightweight, easy-to-use, not too pricey camera asfar as DSLRs go. I am by no means a professional photographer, but Ialwaysrecommend natural and indirect lighting for the best shots.
And I will tweak the lighting a bit in photoshop if it was darker in the space than Id ideally like!
