Happy Friday all! I'm in New York for the weekend for a friend's bridal shower and as always, enjoying the sights and sounds and food of one of my former homes! We find out in just a few more days {if baby shows us what we need to see!} the gender of Baby Cho. What do you think? Any guesses? I'm so ready to know so that I can stop calling this baby "it"! I'll be sure to post next week once we find out. Have a great weekend all! — Joy

  1. I’m going to guess boy. (Really just because your dress is blue!) Either way, I’m pretty sure the baby will be awesome and adorable!

  2. I love your style so much!! It would be nice if you could make a section for pregnant women. It is always helpful get ideas from stylish women like you. Thanks for sharing

  3. I agree with the first post…boy or girl, your baby will have a great wardrobe! You pin the cutest baby stuff, and we already know that you guys have great style. Are you or Bob leaning towards one gender over the other?

  4. Hi! I’ve been a reader of your blog for months now.. can’t remember how I stumbled upon it, but I love visiting. I am going to guess you’ll be having a boy. Best wishes to you and yours during these joyful times.

  5. hmmm..girl?
a friend of mine just had her baby’s “gender reveal” party. it was actually really sweet. the tech put the gender in a sealed envelope, which she gave to a friend who baked a pink/blue cake depending…it was frosted all over. the fun part was when they cut the cake and their family and friends saw the color, including the parents to be!

  6. Well, whatever the gender I hope you still keep on callin’ the bambino (bambina?) “Baby Cho” because I love that. In fact—I think it would be a great baby clothing line name…..maybe with bamboo or something renewable…..or perhaps a limited edition line with your designs– I’m just sayin!)
; ) hope you have a lovely NYC weekend!

  7. i’m sticking with my original guess: boy!
but am prepared to be wrong. you look SO cute, mama!
enjoy new york and go eat some lombardi pizza for me (oh and visit andy spade’s shop in my old ‘hood and report back… pretty please?).

  8. I’m guessing girl! Its awful not knowing the gender and calling the little baby an “it”! I know that feeling, we find out in a few weeks what gender our little is! Congrats again!

  9. Well you are going to have a very happy + pretty (or dapper) + smart+ creative baby of course! Such a stylish and gorgeous mommy-to-be:)

  10. my friend has a theory that a girl steals your looks whilst your pregnant and a boy doesn’t!?!? so judging by how gorgeous you are looking in your photos i am guessing boy! best wishes for a super healthy and happy pregnancy either way.

  11. Guessing it’s a boy. When you belly is perky, its a boy; when it’s wide and round its a girl. At least that’s what I’ve heard.
    Congratulations anyway, best wishes!

  12. So exciting!!! I could hardly wait each time myself.
I’ve also been told what dasi says above – that if it’s perky, it’s a boy and if it’s wide & round, it’s a girl.
I’ve also been told what brigid says above as well!
    So many theories…
I’ve had four boys now and love them all to bits.
Looking forward to the news! (Don’t leave the ultrasound room until the baby co-operates…hehe)

  13. I will know better if I saw you from the back…if you lost your waist it is a boy and if it doesn’t look you are waiting for a baby because you still have your waist is a boy.
    I guess is a boy anyway 🙂

  14. joy, you look absolutely adorable. i just bought that same dress from f21 for $9!! it’s a littttttle short on me, but i love how you’ve styled it, and you’ve given me inspiration to play around with it more! as for baby, i’m gonna go with the minority and say girl 🙂 am excited for you guys!

  15. Hmmm…do you have a hunch? I’ve always had a hunch even before I knew I was pregnant. Somehow I always knew I was going to have a boy. Even then, I could only think of boy names. What do you know? We ended up having a boy. Coming from an Asian family, a boy is preferable as the first born since he’s supposed to take care of mommy and daddy someday. :p But oooh…girls are so much fun shopping for. Either way, it will be “joy.” 🙂

  16. Oh yeah, and those myths of what it’s gonna be? Someone told me because I was breaking out so much, I would have a girl because baby girl is supposedly taking away all the beauty from me. We didn’t have a girl, but our boy turned out to be very pretty. Ha!

  17. Oh to the M to the G! I just happened upon your blog and thought I was falling in love until I met this post and then…yup, i knew it for sure! I am in love with your blog! Totally hope its a happy healthy bouncy boy baby btw! Just bc you are wearing blue stripes in this photo…so he can fashionably coordinate! 🙂 I’m your newest follower! xox! http://theedgeofblue.blogspot.com

  18. So exiting! Good luck to you guys – we just found out the gender on Monday =)
I also think it might be a girl!

  19. You can’t call it “It”!
If you need help with baby names, I am here, whether you have a boy or a girl. 😉
    Loves,
Elisabeth, You Can’t Call It “It”!
