Over the weekend, my food partner-in-crime, Bonnie, took me on a little day trip south of Los Angeles down to the Torrance area for some Japanese treats. We started with some refreshing zaru soba {cold soba noodles with dipping sauce} at Ichimi Ann. It was the perfect base to our next stop for seven {yes seven!} tiny and beautiful desserts at Patisserie Chantilly just a few minutes away. They were honestly as good as they look with my favorites being the Sesame Cream Puff {top}, Creamy Pudding {3rd down}, the Passion {bottom}, and the Mango Mousse {not shown}. Even though we shared a table full of tasty treats, everything still felt light…like I could have gone another round! Of course, I'm still thinking about these little guys today… — Joy
