I've been a total homebody lately with the new babe. Since we have to wait a bit longer before taking her out and about in LA, I haven't had a chance to explore as many new food spots as usual. Luckily, I got a special delivery from a friend of tasty treats from The Pie Hole in downtown Los Angeles so I was able to partake in the fun from the comfort of my own home. Bob loves pie to no end {and prefers pie over cake}, so we were thrilled to hear about a new shop specializing in just that! The Pie Hole offers both sweet and savory options including {from top to bottom}: Peanut Butter Pretzel {like a fancy Reese's cup!}, Mac and Cheese, Chocolate Caramel Crostata, and a Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie. I also loved the Apple Butter hand pie {not shown} with its flaky crust and perfectly petite size… — Joy

Oh wow. Will definitely have to try that on my next trip to LA! Why don’t we have something like that in San Diego??? Too bad they already took the best name. 😉

whoa, there’s a real pie hole?! i wish i lived anywhere near LA now JUST so i could go. did you watch the show pushing daisies (2008-09)? the main character owned a pie shop called the pie hole. cutest place ever!
