happy friday + 2 months of ruby…

Ruby-2month

Ruby-2month

Happy Friday guys! It was so fun meeting some of you last night at the West Elm party! It was my first fancy night out in two months since Ruby was born. Time has flown by like crazy, and I can't believe she's two months already. Her smile makes my day complete, and her rolls are better than the ones you'd get at a French bakery. Inspired by Nicole, I've been tracking her growth monthly, and can't wait to see them all together in a year. Some of you have been asking…and I swear {swear} I'm gonna post photos of her room after the holidays…the break will give me a chance to finally take some photos of it! Hope you all have an amazing last-weekend-before-Christmas! — Joy

{Ps. If you're still looking for gifts, here's a recap of our Gift Guides: The new mom with a sweet tooth, The sweet cheeked bundle of joy, The cozy cook, The collected naturalist, The California girl living in New York, The girly utilitarian, and The silly sophisticate! Also, the series from our Tasty Gift Guide can be found here!}

  1. I’m so glad you’re doing this! You’ll love having the pictures to look back at. One of my favorite things to do is to look at all the photos together each month, and now I like to look at August’s vs. Eleanor’s at the same age.
    And the pom poms are such a cute addition!

  2. How cute, Ruby is beautiful!!!!!!!!! What a great idea to make a picture each month, what a pity, I have a little boy who is now 1 year old and hadn’t had this great idea… Have a great weekend!!!!

  3. Hi Joy,

    Thanks for the inspiration! Im not the crafty type so I got too lazy to make those fun numbers, so I figured shell just get a new pom pom each month till shes covered in them!
