When I cook from cookbooks, I can't make a recipe that doesn't have a photo. I'm not sure why, but the photo gets me more excited about the dish and gives a cue as to what it should look like in the end. So, I'm always a sucker for beautifully photographed cookbooks like these. Three friends in Australia handmade, designed, and wrote a gorgeous series of eclectic cookbooks called The Hungry Girls' Cookbooks. I love the comforting recipes, beautiful photos, and sweet illustrations. Each copy is been hand-bound with cloth and hand sewn in Australia…surely, with love… — Joy
I’m a sucker for pretty food photos too! I’m going to be adding this to the life wishlist stat. Thanks for sharing this little beauty.
I LOVE this! My friends and I have been getting together once a month for three years for a little food club that we call Las Piggies. Our original idea was to create a cookbook over time so that when we’re all married with children, we’ll have yummy and familiar recipes to cook from…..well, we’re all married now and the first of the children is on his way. It may be time to get our cookbook started 🙂
