Here in the midwest, the very sweetest part of spring is the renewal of nature–leaves on the trees, green in the grass, flowers and busy bees, warm sun on pale skin. And also, not having to wear socks.
When the light lingers a little longer after the sun sets and you can still feel the warmth in the air.
I live in Fairbanks, Alaska, so the end of -40 temperatures is pretty sweet! My absolute favorite part of spring is the return of the midnight sun though… and leisurely floats down the river here in town.
