For the final part of my Splendid Summer series of my favorite things to do in LA, it's all about cooling off with some ice cream {big surprise, hunh?}! We're lucky to have some amazing artisanal ice cream shops in Los Angeles that use really fresh and local ingredients and have ever-changing menus of unique flavors. One of my favorites is Sweet Rose Creamery in the Brentwood Country Mart in Santa Monica. I have a serious crush on their sweet corn ice cream {yep, it's like corn on the cob and tastes like summer} nestled into a freshly made chocolate waffle cone. For satiating an ice cream craving, I paired a patterned indigo tank with polka dotted shorts, accented them with mint green accessories, and topped it all off with super summery espadrille wedges that make me feel like a big kid in a candy shop. — Joy
