I used to be so good at writing thank you notes, birthday cards, and just sending out lots of mail to those I care about. Sometime in the last few years, I slowly got worse and worse at it…and now I find myself feeling pretty guilty when I sent out cards late. Or not at all. So, I'm trying to revive my note-writing spirit by stocking up on some cute cards that I can't let go to waste. Fingers crossed…we'll see if that helps! — Joy

  1. I’m a notecard hoarder too. I do find that it helps me be better about sending out mail. I alway love searching my collection for just the right card for the person I’m sending it to

  2. the polka dot cards are great! if it makes you feel better i’m still trying to get the thank yous out from our wedding.. that was 3 months ago!

  3. I am such a fan of letter writing! I don’t do it nearly as often as I like, but there’s something very romantic about it. And who doesn’t love receiving cute little cards like these in the mail?

  4. I just recently graduated from college and haven’t written nearly as many letters and notes as I used to when I had just moved away to college four years ago. I used to keep handwritten correspondence with a few close friends and I loved getting those letters in the mail every week. I should really start doing that again! Facebook, Twitter, texting, phone calls and e-mail are all lovely, but there is just something so wonderful and personal about getting a letter in the mail. Thanks for the reminder!

  5. That’s a great idea. I always make all my cards by hand and sometimes if I don’t have enough time, I don’t get them out. You’ve inspired me to stockpile a few custom watercolor cards for future birthdays and thank you’s.

  6. I’m so with you. Sending snail mail has always been my thing. And I love it. Somewhere after my daughter was born 2 years ago, I’ve really slowed down. I’m trying to pick it back up. Good call on gorgeous stationary. Rifle is amazing! Love your blog, Joy!

  7. I don’t know, it must happen after you have a baby. I used to be so on top of those things. Not so much now. I’ll try your suggestion!
