When I was in Japan a couple years ago, I totally fell in love with green tea everything. I brought home a ton of these green tea kit kats {literally like a dozen packs} and was thrilled to find them here in the states at a Mitsuwa market. They've got the crunch of a kit kat with a creamy, not-too-sweet texture, and so good with tea or coffee in the morning!
ps. you can also find them online if you don't have a Japanese market near you…

Oooh, I have to keep an eye out for these the next time I’m at Mitsuwa near me.
Oh my goodness – I want to try these so bad! I love green tea everything, especially green tea treats! Yum!!

I’ve never seen these before! I have to go to Mitsuwa soon!
Joy, you find the BEST snacks. Being asian myself, it makes me super excited when you post familiar foods in different formats (ahem, bubble tea popsicles.. which I still want SO badly!!).
I am not a huge fan of green tea, but these things are amaaazzzing. Thanks for the info on where to find them in the U.S.!
Whoa green tea kit kats! I’ love kit kats just bought 4 this weekend to stash in my luggage. If you haven’t tried the mint kitkat you’ve got to it is so good!

Green tea Kit Kats? Whaaaat!
Love those! You can also find them at Broome Street General. 🙂
Oh my gosh, those look so good!
I read an NPR story not long ago where they described Green Tea Oreos made for the Chinese market. Now I’m intrigued by these KitKats. Off to ponder where I might find a Japanese market…
Those look awesome! I love green tea everything too – actually just blogged today about Milk + Honey, which has my favorite green tea latte! We have a Mitsuwa nearby, i’ll have to check for those next time!

I tried them a couple of years ago and have totally forgotten about it until now! And now I have such a craving for them… Joy, I am a big fan of your blog from Denmark. Thanks for giving me a little oasis of life everyday.
These look delicious. I wonder if I can find a way to get them here, in New York?!
they look kinda strange, but they probably taste amazing!
Mitsuwa rules. And so do those kit kats. Yum.
OMG I brought back a ton of Kit Kats from Japan too. Every flavor under the sky – corn, rock melon, beer and of course green tea too. They were all delish!
I love and miss Mitsuwa. Need to get my hands on those kit kats!

I just ate a strawberry Kit Kat from Mitsuwa right BEFORE reading your blog today!! 🙂
I have to try this, it looks delicious! Also, love the new (to me) embroidered header 🙂
Oh I ate a lot of these in Japan as well. Other favorites were the coconut m&m’s, green tea soft serve ice cream and the seaweed flavoured chips. Japan has the BEST snack foods…
Oh wow! I want to order some of these. I love green tea.
i have some in my freezer now!
One of my friends brought a few Green Tea KitKats back from Japan last year and our apartment literally broke each KitKat into smaller pieces so we could all try it. Thank you so much for letting us know where to find it here in the US! Now we won’t have to ration it anymore! 🙂

These look pretty delicious like Mitsuwa green Kit Kat.
Even though they’re meant for kids, I’ve totally got a soft spot for animal crackers.
Hey i live in Detroit, USA and I have just read a report that stated the proof of traces of fish in those Japanese kitkats.
@[email protected] yes, I have read or seen the same report
I would not eat them I mean who likes fish in candy???
