This week, it's all about the patterned statement dress. Lately, I've been really into vintage floral dresses and have been scouring Etsy in search of some great ones. However, vintage dresses usually never fit me quite right, so I end up getting them tailored a bit which is worth it to get to wear some of these amazing vintage patterns. For example, I recently got this vintage dress, and had it hemmed so it's bit shorter and more versatile. Paired with a cropped leather jacket, a chunky necklace, a gold polka dotted clutch, and some bright heels, this outfit feels perfect for a fall night out.

What a gorgeous vintage find! Love that dress – and I love the idea of it with a leather jacket even more! Great look.

These are my favorite posts on your blog! Beautiful!
I agree with the other readers. The illustrations are fantastic! I look forward to them each time I visit. Love the dress too!
Oh what a fun patterned dress to wear! A bit bold, and one definitely to attract attention.
Love the way you did this, so much fun!
Cute, but looks chilly! Maybe just because I’m freezing in my office right now reading this. I can’t think about anything else but sweaters and boots for fall right now! Brrrr….
I love your illustrations. They are so good!
I am so very excited for tonight!! 🙂
So inspired….so excited!
Smiles to you,
Jenipher
I can’t decide if I like the illustrated pattern or the real one better! I’ve heard style people (possibly Stacey London?) say that women should wear patterns proportionate to their size, so petite women shouldn’t wear big graphic patterns. I think this outfit totally proves that theory wrong!
A leather jacket instantly makes any outfit better.

Hey, Dina here from MoMoDeluxeVintage…imagine my surprise when I just stumbled upon this adorable illustration of the dress that I sold to you!!! 🙂
I love how you styled it, and I think it’s so interesting that you shortened it…you see, I was *thisclose* to keeping this dress for myself, and if I had, my plan was to shorten it, too! “Great minds think alike”;-)
I love your blog, and I’m so happy you like the dress!
