I'm in a bit of an Impressionist phase lately, so I'm loving the work of artist Judith Geher. The mix of modern portrait with Impressionist-like brush strokes…gorgeous…

These are beautiful! I am loving her work. Thanks for sharing!
I love the combo of line art portraits with impressionist brush strokes. Combining the two does seem very modern. I’m wondering if photoshop is influencing a new generation of artist to create more “layered” pieces. Not that they are necessarily using PS for their craft, but the idea of layering two very different techniques seems distinct to what’s going on in art right now. very cool work. Thanks for sharing, Joy!
These are gorgeous! I love the texture, it makes me want to hang one at eye level and touch it. (Though I guess that would be horrible for the actual painting, haha)
Wow, Joy, I love Judith’s color choices and brush work!! I’m taking an introductory painting class right now, so this is especially inspiring. Thanks for sharing the discovery.

Super pretty. Love the color scheme!
Wonerful prints! They remind me of the one on your wall (a Filipino lady?) that I love!

SO dreamy and gorgeous. I’m usually drawn to things that are really clean, but there’s a sort of messiness here that I’m loving.
