As you guys probably know, I love color. I can't believe I used to dress mostly in gray and black, because now I feel naked without some sort of color on. For the month of April, I'll be sharing some of my favorite ways to bring color into my life over on my "Life in Color" Pinterest board in collaboration with Target. Each week focuses on a different color, with new pins every day and a mix of my own photos from my daily life as well some of my favorite inspirational images within decor, food, and fashion from around the web. I hope you'll follow along for a blast of color each day. Here are a few of my favorite blue and green moments from the first week…

One of my New Years resolutions this year was to wear more colour, but I still seem to focus mostly on grey knitwear and navy stripes so I’m looking forward to getting some ideas for I incorporating more colour in my wardrobe!
gorgeous colour – I love wearing colour, I’m very into orange at the moment 🙂
those glasses!!! i NEED them!
One of my favorite color combinations! Every post is going to be wonderful.
How lovely! Wish we had Target in Europe!
Oh that color!!! Puts me right in the Spring mood. <3 it! Where did that flower with the pom poms come from? It would look perfect in my little Bea's room!
The glasses are pretty awesome. These are some of my most favorite colors!
Minty blues are my fave! Really loving this color inspiration!
Super fun, can’t wait to see all the different colour boards you’ll share!
Teal is my absolute favorite color, and minty green is a close second. Will check out the Pinterest board! Your daughter has the cutest little cheeky monkey smile 🙂
Loving those shoes. Is it from Target?
Super excited about this project. This blog is single-handedly responsible for the introduction of color into my wardrobe and home decor. I too used to be all about gray and black; I know exactly what you mean about feeling “naked” now without color!
I am loving the teal and bright blue colors popping up everywhere this season!
Your first color choice is great. As everybody else I love it too. And love the polka dot pants from Target. 🙂 Looking forward for new color inspiration.
Oh and btw, where are the glasses from? They are so cool.
Oh my goodness. That picture of Ruby is just too cute.
I love color too, but only dress in black (it’s so much easier). LOVE the colors in the images.
Those are beautiful colors! Like you, I used to dress in black and grey as well. Now, I’m learning to embrace other colors. 🙂
The glasses are from Target! They are sunglasses but we popped out the lenses to wear for fun!

Thanks Joy!
After living in London and then Sweden more than a decade ago I started wearing a LOT of black. I still do, but definitely have tried harder in the past few years to incorporate color–mostly through scarves. Love this theme and the Pinterest board idea!
Joy I love the colors! I have the AG dot pants from Anthropologie, these mint ones look just like them, are they good quality, stretchy also?
Thanks!
Amber
I absolutely adore these colours! I’ve been thinking lately that I need to start wearing more colour…
i love the colors and your daughter is adorable, those oxford shoes are pretty cool 🙂
what a fun project, I’ll be following along, for sure!
love the last photo <3
Ha! I have those mint jeans. Love ’em.
loving the pale blue + mint combo. so fun for spring!
I saw those mint oxfords on a stylishly dressed girl the other day. I feel in love with those shoes! And spent the next week searching where they might have come from. I’m an avid reader of your blog and tah-dah, there they were! And today I have my own pair. 🙂 Thanks for always blogging awesome content!
What a scrumptious post! As an art director working in an advertising scene, the black and grey colour palette is all that seems to be appropriate. But it’s so lovely to be inspired to throw a splash of vibrancy to a day.
i’ve been unable to find those tongs anywhere on the target website… do you know the brand? thanks!
I was wondering if the shoes run true to size. I love them!
