I'm excited to be one of the judges for StyleMint's fun Style For Your City contest by . To show how the Los Angeles weather influences my wardrobe, I wanted to show you how I'd take this amazing green Verona top from day to night. For day, I paired it with my favorite corduroys, a bright neon belt, and a fun tote. Then, for night, I swapped out the pants for a flattering A-line skirt, a shiny gold vintage belt, and some heels.
So how does where you live influence your style? To enter the contest*, simply visit StyleMint's Facebook page and upload a photo of an outfit that represents your style in your city. The first place winner will get five StyleMint credits ($150 value), the second place winner will receive two credits (a $60 value), and the third place winner will receive one credit (a $30 value). The contest ends on April 12th, and we'll be choosing three winners from the entries.
Do you guys have a go-to piece you can take from day to night?
*Contest open to U.S. readers 18 and over.

Your outfits are so cute. I love to have pieces which I can style for day and night.
I hate changing multiple times a day, so I always try to bring my daywear into night. I live in Arizona, so an easy summer dress does the trick. I might layer a sweater over it during the day and switch out to some fancier heels at night. Or not! 🙂

Cute outfits for both day and night! I like maxi dresses for an easy day to nig look; add a blazer for day and it’s totally office appropriate, or belt it a bit closer to the body and add heels for night! I’m totally excited it’s almost maxi dress weather here in Philly, we hit 80 today!
San Francisco is ALL about layering. It’s cold in the mornings, warmer in the afternoons, and freezing at night. I almost always have to bring something to cover up with, even if the weather indicates it’ll be in the 80’s. It rarely stays that way all day. And then of course, there are the micro climates. The temperature and wind changes from neighborhood to neighborhood!

Love how you switched up your outfit for this green top! My go-to piece is probably a dress I got from J.Crew year ago. It’s a gorgeous color and for work I wear it with a silk blouse underneath (sort of as a jumper), while at night I’ll take the blouse off and wear it just as a dress with sparkly belt and statement jewelry. Always does the trick!
Very cute outfit change! Also, you look like you are floating off the ground in the top pic!
Your math seems a little off? Wouldn’t 2 credits be $60?

Both of those outfits look fantastic! Love the styling. You’ve inspired me to try tucking more tops in – years of school uniforms mean I have an innate reluctance to do so, but what you’ve done looks great (not at all school uniform-like!)
Sorry to hear that another contest/giveaway doesn’t apply to international readers, what a shame, they never do!
That top is fabulous – love it paired with the skirt!
I know, Im sorry! Every so often, I have one that does, but its logistically a little harder for the sponsors to ship internationally if they dont normally.
Best!

Thanks for replying Joy, I understand, I’ve been a follower of this blog for years but I live in the UK so I don’t get to participate often in the amazing giveaways you posted! All the best for you too x
