Okay, so I know Halloween seems kind of far away…but I had to share this costume cuteness from Real Simple. Ruby was one of the little kiddos that played dress-up in a homemade costume for the magazine's annual feature. She's dressed as her favorite treat…an ice cream sundae! This is adorable! We made a similar costume (except it was a cupcake) for my daughter a few years ago. I wish I could get my other daughter to wear it now that she is big enough!!

This is so adorable! A very sweet costume for a little girl. I don’t think August is too early at all to start Halloween costumes. My 3 year old has requested to be a “cheese monster,” and although I have it sketched out and approved, it will probably take me all two months to make it!
