Fall, for me, is kind of like a second new year. It's the perfect time to switch things up and get excited about a new season. When we were kids, we got new notebooks and pencils to get ready for the school year, and I love the idea of keeping that excitement going as an adult and refreshing parts of my home with simple, inexpensive and creative updates—all in the spirit of the season.
That's why, for the month of August, I've partnered with Target to share and pin my favorite ways to refresh & revive various parts of my home (from bedroom to office, kitchen to bathroom). Follow along to see some great DIY ideas, inexpensive ways to freshen up a space, and inspiration for this time of year. It could be as simple as updating your kitchen with new dish towels and covering your bed with a new duvet (shown above)—or as creative as painting your bed legs in a fun pattern and your ceiling in a new color.

I love fall but I’m not quite ready for summer to come to an end!
The perfect pop of hot pink – not too much, just enough!
Love your Refresh & Revive board- so many fantastic ideas. I also really love the comfy duvet you have chosen- bright yet subtle for Fall!
Cheers!

I love the idea of refreshing items with other items. It may not be anything special, but is an exhilarating feeling. I do like the items you’ve picked out…very cute.
I can’t believe it’s nearly fall already (or autumn as we say in England!). Great inspiration for the home, thanks 🙂

You have to tell me where that donuts print (in the first photo) came from!
What a fun & inspiring collaboration! I love fall and I loved getting new notebooks and pencils by the end of August when I was a kid. I actually miss that sometimes (hence the office supply geek in me).
It seems like a great idea to continue this tradition in adult life with diy projects. Looking forward to see your posts!
I’m counting the seconds until fall!
Love those pops of bright pink up against the soft green! x
That tea towel is beautiful! I haven’t seen it there yet, I’ll have to look for it!
Ok, I’ve been googling like crazy and I can’t find your stunning refrigerator anywhere. Is it a SMEG without the logo? I am completely in love with it, source? Thank you!
Hi Elise,
