Oh Joy | Domino Rug Giveaway

Oh Joy | Domino Rug Giveaway

As some of you might know, Domino Magazine is back! It was my favorite home decor magazine, and I literally cried when it folded a few years ago. I'm thrilled to see it back in print and providing interiors inspiration once again. The coolest part about the supplemental online version of Domino is that you can now shop every story you see in the print version.

I loved the story about editor-in-chief Eva Chen's office in the recent issue, so today we're partnering with Domino Magazine to give away a Moroccan rug (similar to this Emad rug by Emmanuel Torabi Home - a $550 value) plus a one year subscription to Domino Magazine (a $50 value) to one lucky reader to spruce up a room in your home and provide a year full of shelter inspiration.

And as for the rug – I think it would look great in the library in our apartment. *fingers crossed*

  31. I love the “Warsaw White Marble/Antique Brass Round Tray”– I would put the rug in my newly remodeled bedroom! I was able to afford everything except a new rug in there. I’d use that fabulous tray for breakfasts in bed! Love your site 🙂

  32. Loving the sky blue sofa. Such a calming color for an office!
I would but the rug in my office- just got a promotion so perfect for the new space!

I just moved into a new apartment in new york and could use a nice rug to pull the studio together.

  42. What a fabulous work space, eclectic, fun and understated! I too adore the pair of chairs at the desk, yummy! If I won the rug, I would layer it over a sisal to update my family room where I have lots of black, cream and texture. It would be perfect!

  48. I’m a “purse girl,” so my eyes were instantly drawn to the adorable handbag in the bottom photo on the right side of the table.
As for the rug, it would grace the floor in my apartment living room (currently sporting very hard laminate flooring). I usually love to sit on the floor while writing or reading, but this uncomfy floor has changed that habit. The rug would bring back my ability to do so!

  49. My eyes were immediately focused on the desk! I’m finishing up the last bit of college before I become a high school english teacher, and my living situation is too small to have a full-sized desk like that, so I’m suffering a bit of desk envy.
I would definitely put the rug in the common room, where I love to get on the floor and play with my mini Dachshund every day when I come home from work or school. We play tug-of-war with some of her toys, I give her belly and ear rubs, she loves to fetch things, or we just romp around on the floor. Having a soft rug would make it a lot more fun and stylish.

I would put the rug in my dining room, where my daughter and son-in-law will come over to eat Thanksgiving dinner with me. I’m just thinking about how good the soft fibers would feel on our bare toes as we enjoy the meal and each other’s company–divine!

  52. I love Eva! I follow her on Instagram 🙂
I was immediately drawn to the Lanzetta artwork, so bright and fun! It pretty much jumps out like BOOM – HI! Welcome to my office!
If I won the rug it would be hanging out in our dining room! Our house is very cozy (aka tiny!) so we try to make every room comfortable. This would work perfect in our dining area where we have a farm dining table.

This would be great in my daughter’s room. As for the rug, it would go in the living room, a lovely Moroccan touch to offset our salvaged Brazillian barn door coffee table (a beloved flea market find that came etched with initials long ago carved into it, during its life as a tree – and is now full of added marks from my two and a half year old daughter)!

  59. LOVE that rug — I lived in Morocco for 6 months and am still kicking myself that I bought big rugs for family members but not for myself (just a little guy). And those ikat chairs are adorable too!

  60. How do you even pick a favorite piece from her office? It is immaculately designed! If I had to pick a favorite, I would choose the Schumacher ikat chairs. They are so fun and the colors are fabulous. And if I won the rug? It would be perfect at the foot of my bed. Mornings can be cold here in Colorado and it would be nice to sink my toes into that rug as I go about my morning routine.

  61. I love the benches they have! But of everything, my favorite item is the bright yellow Sprout Dining Table. That would be so much fun! If I won, I would put the rug in my older brother’s house. He just got married and he and his wife live in a beautiful old with lots of hard wood floors. My sister-in-law loves to make things cozy, so I’m sure they would appreciate having something nice for their feet when they’re hanging out in their living room.

It’s the perfect mix of style + practicality, which I love in my furniture pieces.
If I won, I would put the rug in my guest bedroom. It’s the coldest room in my apartment and it would give a great contrast to the dark hardwood floor. I love providing a cozy comforting environment for my guests and know that this rug would make the space feel special and much more homey!

  145. That coffee table is amazing! And the rug would look great under my own (not as cute) coffee table.

  164. Eva’s desk is the perfect foundation to creating an asthetically pleasing environment; white, a classic & acrylic stand alone, with no drawers allows for optimal organization, less clutter, and a true blank slate to create whatever kind of flat installation she pleases. I love her desk, and have been looking for the perfect white desk myself 🙂
I would put this rug in the second room of my newly-wed small urban apartment in Denver, Colorado. I’ve created a space to ‘create’ with limited space, and am always looking for more ways to inspire others to find their “space” through the ways I decorate! I love neutrals for their classic feel. Thanks for the opportunity! Looking to launch my own blog here in the next 6 months, and am continually inspired by your work. (Just ordered your book!)

  191. I love the Birches print. Beautiful! I would put the rug in my basement, which I’m turning into a reading cave.

  192. I absolutly love the coffee table. This is a great way to spread out all your magazines and it not to look cluttered. Also, since so many mag covers look like works of art its a great way to show your individuality and interests.

I love this rug. I also love the Clay Gourds Lamp and the photograph of Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin. I’m expecting, so I think I would put the rug in the nursery.

  291. I love the Christopher Spitzmiller lamp as well as the black Clay Gourds lamp. As we’re heading towards the darkest times of the year, you can never have enough light/lamps in your life. As for the rug, I’d put it in my son’s room—he needs something soft to put his feet on when he wakes up in the morning.

  292. 1) I love how gold and white is mixed in the office and and 2) I’d put the rug in my living room if I won one.

  293. I love the sofa!! The skyblue fabric is so peaceful. If I won the rug, it would go wonderfully in my living room…add some pattern and interest to a bland space. Thanks! (And super excited that Domino is BACK!!)

  294. I love the office, but have a soft spot for that beautiful blue sofa! I would put the rug in my living room, for my son to lay around on while telling us his fantastic stories.

  295. My favorite item in Eva’s space? The strappy red heels are really speaking to me! The rug is my favorite single thing, but there are several lovely decor elements that I adore. The low-profile pale blue loveseat looks like heaven! If I should be the lucky winner, my new rug would go in my bedroom, near my rolling dress rack and mirror. Please let it be me!!

  296. I absolutely adore the Emad Rug. I have been looking for something similar for my apartment’s living room/office for years!

  297. I too love those Schumacher ikat chairs! And the rug would go in my bedroom. Perfect way for my feet to be greeted each morning!

  298. I, too, am in love with those chairs!
I’d put this rug in my bedroom. It is the most neglected room in the house since we always take care of the kids first!
    Melissa

  299. Absolutely LOVE the oversize Oomph coffee table! I would put it in my living room. The rug would look amazing in my new home office. It’s exactly what i’ve been looking for for that room.

  300. I love the space, I love the colors and how they all work together, you can tell it’s a small space but it doesn’t feel like it because of how everything flows together. I would have to show off this rug in the living room. I have wooden floors and recently my dog was in a accident so we can’t take a chance on her slipping on wooden floors. Having a rug like this will make not only safe for her, but pretty as she is 🙂 Thank you.

  301. I was sooo upset when domino shut down. My favorite things about this particular office are the same things I have always loved about domino: unique pieces and the cohesive blend of styles (as well as the inclusion of bright floral arrangements. My favorite pieces are the cosmetic tray, vase and funky chairs.

  302. Apart from the gorgeous rug, I love all the art and the way its been displayed in Eva’s office. As to where I would put the rug, I would like to put it in our master bedroom, it would be lovely to wake up to it every morning!

  303. I really love the bench and the fiddle leaf fig. That rug is gorgeous! I just started a new job and I would put it in my office on campus. Great giveaway! Domino is inspirational.

  304. the vibrancy of the couch and chairs is awesome, particularly paired with the neutral colour scheme of the rug. Would definitely put in in the living room – pride of place to be seen the moment you walk in my house!

  305. So hard to choose, but the baby blue sofa is unlike everything else I own, and it’s time to break out of my rut!
The rug would most definitley go in my 11 year old son’s room, who has a way better design sense than me and will hijack it.

  306. I love the powder blue sofa featured in the office – so light and airy! I would put the fabulous rug in my den under my antique chest that serves as a coffee table!

  307. I love her space! What stands out is that Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree.. I have one myself but it only stands about 3 feet tall–seeing hers helps remind me that all the TLC will eventually pay off! I would put a rug like this in my bedroom. Nothing like a soft rug under your feet, first thing when you wake up! =)

  308. I want those chairs by the desk. And that rug would be gorgeous in my LR under my midcentury coffee table. Why aren’t I rich?

  309. Even though I could probably never keep it as tidy, I really like the bench. Because I need a place to put my things when I walk through the door! As for the rug, I would put it in my dining room under my glass table and chase my dogs off of it every day.

  310. I actually fell in love with the rug when I first saw the story. And if I happened to win it (or a reasonable facsimile), I would put it in my dining room, because it would tie that room in to the living room perfectly!

  311. Wow, What DON’T I love? I’m especially digging the print chairs. Drool-worthy! I’d put that rug in my living room so I could see it all the time!

  312. I’d love to hang some bold art on my walls, like Chen’s Kenise Barnes Fine Art print. I would put the rug in my living room, where I like to have friend over for movies and games. Great post!

  313. I have been wanting a rug like that for ages, and, actually, would most also like to have the indoor plant with the broad leaves. I’d put the rug in my bedroom, and the plant (come on, throw in the plant, too!) in our sunroom.

  314. 1)love that bench!
2)this would go in the office/baby play area, my little one would love to play with it,

  315. Love that black Christopher Spitzmiller lamp – have been looking for something exactly like that for my family room. I would put the rug in my baby girl’s room =)

  316. Being an art student,I love the collection art work on the wall. If I win the rug I will put it in my bedroom.

  317. Beautiful couch! I love the faux detailing on the cushions! The rug would be beautiful in our second bedroom, which right now serves as a weight lifting room – I’d rather have a beautiful carpet !!! (And Domino Magazine to read)

  318. I absolutely adore the Emerald couch. Tapered legs always get me **swoon**. As for the FABULOUS rug, I am dying for a rug like that in our first baby’s nursery! We want minimal, with lots of textures and colored art similar to your office. Absolutely love it.

  319. Her desk is simple and beautiful but I really like that basket in the corner by the couch! The rug is really dreamy, I think I would put it in my living room….

  320. I agree with you, Joy! the ikat-covered desk chairs are oh-my-gosh amazing. I would give the rug to my mom since she never gets anything for herself and it would look fantastic in her place! Meg

  321. Love her desk from Blu Dot. I would put the rug in my bedroom. In our rental home, we have the worst maroon icky carpet and this rug would definitely bring back the pretty 🙂

  322. As a lover of all things photography and super cool French people, I so adore the picture of Serge Gainsbourg. I would really, really love to that rug in my living room. We have been on the hunt for one for months now and it would fit perfectly in our space!

  323. Loving the coffee table…it’s like one giant tray making all it seem neat and tidy! I’ve been searching for that perfect rug for my own office for a while now, so that’s where it would go.

  324. I absolutely love those chairs. I would love to have the rug to put in my future office space.

  325. Yay for Domino coming back. I still have all of my old issues (and I normally eschew keeping old paper of any kind around the house). But they have so many good ideas I just couldn’t part with them. I love the spacious square coffee table for an office. Great for displaying art books. I would put the rug in my living room in Madrid. I’m moving to Spain in six weeks and I can’t wait to infuse my apartment with a Spanish/Moroccan vibrant style.

  326. The armless linen sofa with its tape detail on the back cushions is lovely!
I would use the rug in the office I’m trying to pull together for my husband, who’s now working at home!

  327. The plants give the rooms such life! And I love those clay gourd lamps. And I would put the rug in my new house in the Castro! Furniture coming soon:)

  328. 1) The way the sofa back is framed with the upholstery is awesome! It adds such a custom and unique touch to the whole space. It draws my eye in immediately and helps balance the room. 2) I’d have to put the rug in my Living Room where it would add such a cozy feeling!

  329. I like the chairs, the coffee table and the hot pink chevron pillow. The rug would look great at one end of our dining room where we have a little sitting area!

  330. I love the yellow tribal print artwork behind her desk. Such a great pop of color. I would put this rug in living area it would really add a neutral balance to all the bright pillows I have on my couch

If I win this rug (fingers crossed) I plan on putting in our new nursery! Eee!!

  333. I loved that office and am obsessed with the rug! I also really like the Strut table. I’d put the rug in my dining room; it might be crazy to put a thick rug under the dining table but it’s just what the room needs!

  334. Love everything about the room, especially the blue sofa, gorgeous! So happy Domino is back, it’s been sorely missed. I would put the rug in my bedroom, it would look fab with my furniture, plus give it the extra something its missing!

  335. I’d put the rug in our small den where we watch tv. I like the sky blue sofa as well! Nice transitional style – not too modern or too traditional.

  336. I love the white armless couch. I would put the rug in my new Brooklyn apartment (I’m moving to NY next weekend) that is completely unfurnished!!

  337. I would put the rug in my office, where I work from home. I love the green couch – great shape and color.

  338. Hi,
I love the little gold dish below the Peonies! It adds that touch of sparkle and shine that makes a space feel special.

  339. Oh wow! I am so happy that Domino is back…I am pretty sure that I still have articles from old issues somewhere. 🙂

  341. Wow, I love Eva Chen. She’s fantastic and so inspiring, especially on instagram! I love, love that sky blue sofa. And were I so lucky to win the rug, would definitely utilize it in my living room as the focal point. I have loved that style for years now!

  342. Oh please, please! We’re about to move into a new home with hardwood floors (from carpet), and we need a rug for our bedroom. I would just adore this one! Plus, the subscription would help me as I design our new home! The fiddle leaf is just gorgeous, but I think my favorite piece of furniture is that light blue artist’s palette-esque side table.

  343. I love that Domino is back!! I loved this office–bright with great pops of color! The art hanging on the wall behind the desk was fantastic, as were the chairs, and the coffee table with the ledge around it (I need one of those for my house!). I also loved how items within the office were mismatched but still gave a cohesive feel. I can’t wait to get my own (home) office set up, and hope it gives a great vibe like this one! If I were to win this awesome rug, I’d put it–in my home office!

  344. Love the white sofa with the gray rectangle printing on the pillows. And the Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin photograph! I would put the rug in my living room where the current rug is worn out. boo!

  348. What a beautiful space! I love that Oomph coffee table. As for the gorgeous rug, I would put it in our guest room. It’s in dire need of some design inspiration!

  349. Those chairs have such a good shape, and the ikat print isn’t too shabby either. The rug would go in my dinning room where the wood floor is so bad in some spot you can’t drag your feet for fear of splinters! Oh the fun of renting an old house…

  350. No way, I *just* got done reading the new holiday issue and loved Eva’s office and those Moroccan rugs. I noticed the rugs were in several of the stories, not sure if it was a coincidence? I’d definitely put the rug in our home office, to glam it up and cozy it up a bit. It’s where we spend the most time! I loved the ikat chairs in Eva’s story but I really loved that mirrored, slatted bench.

  351. I adore the rug and yellow picture above the desk! I can’t wait for Domino to arrive! Thanks for the opportunity to win the lovely rug! It will be perfect in my living room. It will compliment the colors and patterns I have around. 🙂

  356. I love the metallic bench and would love to see it repurposed as a coffee table! I would put the rug in my dining room, where I have a farm table and acrylic chairs to add a layer of geometry/pattern to keep the room from being too modern (acrylic chairs) or rustic (farm table).

  357. i am obsessed with every aspect of this room. i do love the pink chairs! if i am the luck winner of the rug it will go in my family room. fingers crossed!

  358. Hi there,
I also love the sky blue sofa. Beautiful.
And I would put that gorgeous rug smack dab in the middle of my small living room. It would brighten it up and make it look much more spacious.

  359. I’ve been seeing this rug (or similar rugs) around recently and I love it! It’s the perfect rug for a bedroom because it is contemporary but comfortable. My favorite parts of Eva’s office would have to be the rug (duh!), how she’s displayed her paintings up on a shelf, the pale blue sofa, and the overall modern eclectic style of the room!

  360. The gourd lamps are absolutely killing me – I covet those, but they always seem to be a million bucks (and I’m not convinced the dog and/or cat wouldn’t knock them over!) But the rug would definitely go in my bedroom . . . hellllooooo cozy warm morning toes 🙂

  366. Domino mag rocks! So do the ikat chairs in this office! The rug could go anywhere in my house but it would probably end up in my bedroom. Good luck everyone!!

  372. 1. I love the sky blue sofa! 2. I’d put the rug in my living room. A morrocan rug and new chairs are the last items I need to make it perfect!

  373. I am a magazine fiend, and as a result I must throw out many very loved design ones or one would not see the forest for the trees when visiting my place; however, try as I might, even though currently in the middle of getting my place listed to downsize to a smaller place I cannot bring myself to throw away one single past Domino issue. So you can imagine the joy I felt when I heard they have hit the street! (I doubt that I will still throw away my old issues even with this news.)
I am looking to move into a place with a distressed dark concrete floor; this floor rug would absolutely pop against a background like that (and be so cozy on that floor)!
    Thanks for thinking of us!

  374. I love her sofa! Also, I’ll take those floor-to-ceiling windows, please 😉

  384. There are SO many things to love about this gorgeous space, from those beautiful streamlined windows to the sleek, white desk (that’s my favorite.) Overall, I loved her using white to set off the brighter colors elsewhere. …If I won this Moroccan rug, I would find a place for it in my studio, where it would look fabulous on the rustic wooden floors. I’m so happy to see Domino again!

  385. I love the rug! I’m actually on the hunt for one in my living room right now, so this would be a sweet win! But, I also wouldn’t mind having the sky-blue couch, also.

  386. I love the Margaret Lanzetta artwork, it is so happy yet sophisticated. I would love to put that rug in my keeping room.

  387. I was overjoyed when I found out domino magazine was returning! I have each of the original magazines saved for reference in my office. I love the sky blue miramar sofa. The rug would go perfect in our eclectic traveler guest room!

  388. Oh Joy! Eva’s office is all out glam and ladylike, all at once. My favorite element in her office is the sky-blue upholstered Miramar sofa! 395. I love the art prints and happy color pops!
If won, this rug will nestle our toes in our living room!

  396. I love the white wood grained lucite table to the left of the couch, unless I’m seeing an illusion!!! If that’s all in my head and does not exist, I love that fiddle leaf fig tree. Besides not being able to find it anywhere near where I live, I have a brown thumb and would most likely kill it. So envious.
If I had that rug it would replace the tiny one currently in our living room so our little one could learn how to crawl in style.

I’m in the process of sprucing up my very tiny (250 sq ft) studio in Los Angeles. What a difference that rug would make in my living area/ reading nook/ dining room/ bedroom!!

  581. That painting! So cheery and geometrical-ish. I’d put the rug in the library/office to warm the hardwood floor.

  582. I love the white couch AND the birch print. My husband and I are making our outdoor garage into a sewing studio for me and I would put the rug in this room.

  583. I love how graphic and bright her office is! Those brightly upholstered chairs! The fiddleleaf tree! Her picture ledge above the sofa! All of those are my favorite. My living room is definitely in need of a rug to distract from all of the boring gray apartment carpet.

  584. HAPPY DAY! Domino is back! I love that sky-blue sofa and that bench is ha cha cha! Oh Man I am so excited.

  585. I really love that seagrass basket with the pop of color through it and those flowers are so pretty. I have decided that I am taking over my boyfriend’s man cave since he rarely uses it and turning it into my dressing room/music room. that rug would feel yummy in between my toes!

  586. I love her woven basket (but I love your fuchsia chairs even more – where did you get them?). I would put the rug in my nursery.

  587. this post is everything great! i love domino magazine, i love moroccan rugs, and i love oh joy! while impossible to choose just one, i love the white upholstered sofa with taupe trim detail on the back pillows in eva’s office to balance out all of the fun, bright patterns, while still being interesting and classic. if i were to win this rug, which would be amazing, i would put it in my bedroom which has a wall-to-wall carpet currently to add some pattern and interest!!! great giveaway!

  588. I’m drawn to the ikat chairs & the great artwork by Margaret Lanzetta!
I’d put the rug in my living room.

  589. Eva Chen is such an amazing woman, swoon! Her office is just as enviable. You have great taste, Joy, I love the chairs too!! Followed closely by the Strut X-Large White Table & fresh flowers & vases.

  590. Love that mirrored Nelson bench! If I had that rug I’d put it in my bedroom to soften the room and make it cozier!

  591. I think the rug is my favorite but I dig both of the couches. I think the rug would be perfect in my sunroom. With winter coming up, sitting by the wood burning stove and reading Domino magazine sounds like a fantastic afternoon.

  592. Besides the fabulous rug, I loved the slatted bench. It would be so useful in our entry or at the edge of our bed.

  593. While I love the hickory chairs, the sky-blue sofa looks so comfy and great for an afternoon coffee break to relax and re-focus. Overall, my favorite part are the small personal touches (like the nailpolish and perfume display!) that make the space so unique!
I would use the magnificent rug in my own office space in attepmts to calm some of the color throughout!

  594. I LOVE the chairs and the way that the yellow painting pops in the background. I would display the rug on my wood floors in my living area/kitchen. The area needs a big beautiful rug to make the room stand out. Thank you!

  595. I too cried when my subscription to Domino was canceled! The emerald green velvet sofa makes my heart skip a few beats. I have to admit I have a emerald green velvet vintage chesterfield in my living room ($30). The woven basket and the black and white abstract art are another favorite. The touch of gold and brass throughout is perfect! And the moroccan rug….I drool over every time I see it. Just not in my budget yet! Free is though 😉

  596. I love the sky blue sofa in her office! I would put the rug in our living room. We’ve been wanting a large rug for a long time; it’s really cold on the wooden floors and I know we are getting a draft from the fireplace. It would be nice to have a cozy rug under our feet when we sit on the couch and for our kids to sit on when they play.

  597. I am obsessed with those okay chairs! I’ve never seen them in that color. That rug would look amazingly in my bedroom, keeping my fingers crossed! My cold feet will thank you 🙂

  598. I’m crazy about the chairs, the black and white art, and the fresh flowers. 🙂 I’d put the rug in my bedroom. Nothing like rolling out of a warm bed onto a comfy rug.

  599. The sky-blue sofa and oversize coffee table are my faves. I would put the rug in either my bedroom or living room — it’s beautiful!

  600. I also like the ikat covered chairs. I would put the rug in my living room which coincidentally is lacking a rug!

  601. I love the shelf ledge. Much easier than nailing holes in the wall and trying to get things even. I’d put the rug in our sunroom/playroom.

  602. I also really like the clay gourd lamp, but I would choose the grey. I am in need of a rug for my front room, and have been on the hunt, this rug would be perfect. Excited about Domino coming back! Now if we could get Cookie magazine back too…

  603. I also vote the chairs, but how quirky is the nail polish on the desk. Styling details like that bring so much personality and branding! I’d put my rug in the living room!

  604. I adore the slat metallic bench, so glam! The beautiful rug would be perfect as a cozifier in front of my fireplace.

  605. The rug would go in my bedroom, for sure. As far as the office goes, the first thing to catch my eye was the set of chairs as well.

  606. i was a faithful follower of Domino mag and was SO sad when they shut it down! so happy to see it’s rebirth! what a fabulous office….love those clay gourd lamps, and those chairs are great too. i would definitely put the rug in our brand new (empty) living room.
    thanks, joy!

  607. i love the chrome bench! beautiful. i’d put this gorgeous rug in my dining room, it would looks so nice on our dark hardwood floor.

  608. i love that chrome bench, so glam but functional as well. i’d put this beautiful rug in my dining room; it would look so nice against our dark hardwood floor!

  609. I’d take that Birkin bag! Haha, jk (ok, not really). But the bench it’s on is gorgeous! This rug would be the perfect neutral piece to ground my colorful living room.

  610. One of my favorite items from Eva’s office are her ikat covered chairs. I’m a sap for patterns & love accent chairs, especially when paired with pillows & throws. If I won the morrocan rug, I would either put it in my bedroom which currently has tile floor without a rug, or I would change out the rug in the living room & mix-up the look of the space! Love your style Joy!

  611. I love the sofa, beautiful and comfortable. The rug is lovely and would look perfect in either our soon to be functional guest room, or office!

  612. Love the hickory chairs with Ikat print, they would look lovely in our living room to give our other dark furniture a kick, I do love the accessories on the desk to, I would put the rug (if I won) in our living room, we currently don’t have and need one!

  613. I love the paramount left side couch in either pebble or granite. It’s modern and chic and perfect with the rug. I could envision the rug and couch in my living room.

  614. The abstract black and white paintings are my favorite. Although the pale blue couch is a close second. I’d love to put this rug in my husband’s office.

  615. oh that rug! i love! i would put it front + center in my living room.
i’m also in love with that dining table… or pretty much everything else in the collection.

  616. I’d place the rug in my living room to match my white sofa and would ad pops of color in the form of pillows and side chairs a’la domino and ohjoy – Both are fantastic inspirations!

  617. So excited for this giveaway! Love, love, love her Edgartown Coffee Table. And I would put the rug in my living room, on top of hardwood floors.

  618. Dying over her oh so chic white table lamp. I’d rock that rug in my office. The barely lavender walls, big glossy white baseboards, white painted hardwood, and skylight totally need this rug as a complement 🙂

  619. I’m so happy Domino is back. It was my absolute favorite interior design magazine. I too LOVE that pair of guests chairs at Eva’s desk, Joy! If I found myself with that amazing rug, I’d put it in my brand new home studio!

  620. 1- the serge and jane print is an iconic must frame piece 2 – i have a bun in the over due in april, so i’d lavish his room with this plush and posh rug*

  621. I love the light blue sofa and the tiny brass dish on her desk. The rug would be perfection in our living room.

  622. I absolutely love the chairs, as well as her sofa! And if I were to win a rug (fingers crossed)I would put it in the living room of my apartment (which could use a little sprucing up)!

  623. Love the bench! So great for multiple purposes (i.e. decor, seating for my daughter to fill me in on her day, drop-off spot for bags)! The rug would be the perfect accent in our small family living room

  624. i love the ENTIRE office! So glad Domino is back! I would put the rug in my living room or bedroom.

  625. This rug would be amazing in our bedroom, we have so much free floor space in there and it would really spruce things up a bit. Also, I am kinda drooling over the Letter for you art piece. Its amazing!

  626. I’m loving the ikat chairs as well! My favourite part about is are the gold tipped feet! The rug would be perfect for my living room. I’ve been on the hunt for a new rug 🙂

  627. I love the artwork by Margaret Lanzetta behind the desk. I think I would use the rug in our bedroom to warm it up a bit this winter. It would be lovely to step out of bed onto this cozy rug.

  628. I love the clay gourd lamps which would look great on anyone’s bedside table! The rug would be beautiful in front of our stone fireplace under the l-shaped couch that is our favorite relaxation spot.

  629. I love the whole office! Especially like the black and white paintings and that gorgeous bench. I would put the rug in my living room, where I am in desperate need after current rug was damaged.

  630. That end table is pretty on. With just enough quirk in that cut out that the top reminds me of artist’s palette. It is the perfect blue compliment to the sky blue sofa, along with that white gourd lamp and fresh flowers. That corner would be the place for me an creative affirmation, deep breath, and back to work moment. As for the Rug…. Next to my bed so that the first thing my feet set upon in the morning is something beautiful.

  631. So happy that Domino is back! I love her simple white desk. That rug would bring the perfect amount of texture and pattern to my living room.

  632. I am dying over the tall fiddle tree. Plants just make me happy! I would love to cozy up the bedroom with the beautiful rug. Keeping my fingers crossed!

  633. I’m over the moon for her sky blue sofa. I fell for it about a month ago and I’ve been dreaming of it ever since. And the rug? Oh I’d curl up on the rug in my new all-neutral living room overlooking the Lowcountry marsh in St. Helena, SC.

  634. I love the Miramar Sofa in Eva’s Office with Time square in the background. Since I just moved I would place the carpet in the living room with my new Ikat black and white pillows. Love Domino! So glad it’s back and hoping soon it will be back in print!!

  635. I would love to work in that office! The Hickory Chair duo is adorable but I am also into the clean white of the coffee table and settee. I would naturally want the rug in my bedroom since it is so soft and plush, but such a statement piece deserves to be featured in a more high-traffic area, so my office would happily play host 🙂
YEA for Domino’s return! I knew it would happen one day!!

  636. That metallic bench is calling me! That gorgeous rug would be an excellent addition to my chill out spot (formerly known as the living room). 🙂

  637. That chrome bench and the white/grey sofa. I would put the bench in my entryway and line up my and my husband’s (nicer) shoes underneath b/c we’re a shoe-free household. OR back the bench to the couch in my living room. Et voila!

  638. Love those seagrass baskets for my son’s new nursery. We’re also upgrading houses in a few weeks and the Emad rug would be gorgeous in our new foyer.

  639. Love the clean simplicity and elegance of Eva’s office. My favorite piece is the sky blue sofa. As for the rug, it would be the first thing my feet touch in the morning.

  640. Wow! I love this rug. We have a small apartment so it would totally transform our space. We’d put it in our living room/open dining area. And from her office- I’d love the simple glass vase for flowers, and the woven basket for storage. Great giveaway!

  641. The two black and white canvas paintings keep grabbing my eye. I love them!! I also love that little brass alligator guy on your table 🙂

  642. I love that rug! I would put it at the foot of my bed. Would be wonderful to wake up too! I am also loving the gourd lamps. I love the black and that it can add a more dramatic look.
I am also so pumped domino mag is back! As soon as it was released I went to Barnes and Noble to pick it up!

  643. I LOVE the woven basket with red squares nestled next to the couch and the cute gold trinket on her desk; the little details really make her office!
This rug would look absolutely perfect in our new living room, in our new home that is desperately calling for a rug like this to bring it all together!!

  644. Oh my goodness, is that rug gorgeous or what! I would definitely put it in the space next to my fireplace so I could snuggle up on it during the winter. Oooh the grey clay gourd lamp is so interesting looking, I love it too!

  645. What a bright and cheerful work space!
I love the mix of art, especially that big yellow piece near her desk.
That rug would look great in my living room.

  646. first, i am so happy that Domino is back! huzzah!
i love the clay gourd lamps, they are a nice organic touch.
i would happily put that rug in our guest room to add bit of a soft touch underfoot.

  647. love that big yellow art piece on the wall! so pretty! i’m desperate to brighten up my living room and have been looking for the perfect light colored rug. this would look very nice in there!

  648. This is GREAT news! That rug would go strait in our family room, and her sky-blue sofa is beautiful.

  650. I love the woven basket nestled next to the couch, it’s beautiful!
The rug would be just what our new living room needs to really come together and feel complete!

  651. I love Chen’s sky blue sofa. If I won the rug, I’d find a similar couch and pair the two in my “closet room.” The guest room that I’m turning into a Jenna Lyon’a style closet room!

  652. That print behind her desk is just stunning – I want to find something similar for our guest room/office! I would put that rug in our bedroom – how amazing would that be under foot every morning?!

  653. I love the chairs and I’m so excited Domino Magazine is back!! I would put the rug in my living room. I have a beat up rug now that I can’t wait to throw away. My puppy is finally potty trained. YAY!

  654. Eva Chen has great style and I would love to have that sky blue sofa in my home! That color calms my spirit and brings me such joy. Plus having the rug in the same space as the sofa – it already works!

  655. I love the sky blue sofa! It’s the first time blue has ever looked so neutral. I would love to win this rug, I’d put it in my living room to bring the while room together. Fingers crossed!

  656. My style is rustic/minimalist, and I actually like the large basket on the floor beside the sofa best. I love the rug, and would put in in front of our sofa, beneath a stretched batik cloth which my mom wore as a sarong in Indonesia when she was young.

  657. Love the coffee table. Solid Mid-Mod styling against that impeccably soft and exotic looking rug is always transitionally classic. The pops of fuscia, pink play beautifully off the solid foundation of those two pieces. That rug is a classic, and I would place that in my bedroom. Placed in the sitting area in front of the bed itself, which is flanked by two wakefield mid mod endtables, neutral excessories and pops of color w/ ethnic pillows (kuba cloth, moroccan, ikat)..

  658. That beautiful bench on top of that beautiful rug, all to fit perfectly in my atelier! fingers crossed

  659. I like the metallic looking bench at the end of the post. I’m a sucker for shiny things. I would love to put this rug either to replace the one in my living room, or the foyer.

  660. Eva’s office is incredible — I love how bright it is, and really love the glossy lamp on her desk.
I have been eyeing that rug ever since your studio reveal. If I were to win one, it would have to go in my bedroom. No doubt.

  661. i adore the light blue sofa and the rug would look gorgeous in my living room. great feature & glad to see that domino is back!

  662. Hi Joy! I love the metallic bench that Eva has in her office. If I win the beautiful rug, I will put it in our baby boy #2’s nursery.

  663. I love the two chairs in front of her desk. They have really great lines and look comfortable.
I’d put the rug in front of the sofa my grandma gave me – it’s tufted, olive green velvet goodness from 1970. I think the rug would update it in the most perfect way.

  664. Oh my!! Meow…this rug would go right in my living room. I would love the emerald velvet couch!

  665. Hi Joy! Love everything about Eva’s office but especially the Margaret Lanzetta artwork. I would put the rug in my bedroom! 🙂

  666. Fingers crossed for this contest – I am a new homeowner and would LOVE this rug in my living room. It would be the perfect finishing touch! I love the CLAY GOURDS LAMP – they have tons of character and would perfectly accent any room in my home!

  667. It’d be wonderful to win this rug! I’d put it in my bedroom, probably. The little bowls and trinkets on Eva Chen’s desk are tiny, but they look like they’d be so useful for miscellany. I’d love to have those, too!

  668. That bench! Such a perfect piece to greet visitors as they arrive. And the gorgeous giveaway rug, I would love to have it grace the floor of my living room. What a fun way to celebrate the return of a great magazine.

  671. I love the sky-blue club sofa in her office. So classic and pretty. I’d definitely put the rug in my bedroom!

  672. LOVE those chairs!!! So pretty! I would either put the rug in my bedroom or in my office which is needing a major update!

  673. Wow! What a great giveaway!! 1- that black & gold lamp (swoon). It would look fantastic in my kitchen. 2- that rug would absolutely go in my bedroom. Recently, my hubby put a wood floor in (we had a baby and I can’t stand the thought of my little guy crawling on old, dirty carpet) and complains about how cold his toes are when walking across it. I just haven’t found “the rug,” but this, this could be it!

  674. I screamed for days when Domino came back! LOVE it! Now, if Cookie would come back! I pinned the Murphy sofa and would LOVE to have it! The whole office is perfect. 🙂 I would put the rug in my office!

  680. Great minds think alike. I love those chairs, too. I’d have to go with that desk, though. I’ve wanted that particular desk for many moons.
As for where I’d put the rug. The bedroom. I’ve been searching for something to anchor the room with and I think that would be perfect. Love the neutrality yet zany design. Reminds me of me 🙂
I actually never read Domino, but so many creative peeps are gushing that I have to check it out now.

  681. I love the fiddle leaf tree, so cute. If I won the rug I’d put it in my living room. Been wanting one like it for a long time!

  682. Oh my goodness, I would take her plant! I am a sucker for plants. Plus, I just moved across the country to San Francisco and had to give all of mine away! Sad face. In addition…if I won that amazingggg dream rug I would put it in our new apartment in the bedroom with the Domino Mag on my bed stand. 🙂

  683. I LOVE the yellow painting behind the desk. If I won the rug I would put it in my small and cozy living room.

  685. This rug is amazing! If I won we would put it in my sadly neglected master bedroom. We moved into our house about 6 months ago and our bedroom is the last thing to be decorated. I really want to create a space just for my husband and I to enjoy. Sort of a little haven for us! This would be perfect! I also am enamored with that deep green sofa and the Cali print hanging on the wall! So cute!

  686. I absolutely LOVE that Jane Birkin & Serge Gainsbourg photo. I could listen to them make music together all night long, while I sip french 75s with my gal pals and of course a cheeseplate. (LIFE IS ALL ABOUT CHEESE PLATES!)
In my living room right now, we have an ikea rug, that was super affordable at the time and such a perfect space filler, but as time has gone on, the rug got quite a bit of foot traffic, and Im at that point where I want my apartment to grow up with me! I finally got a nice couch that I refurbished and had upholstered, but I don’t think my bank could handle the fright of another big purchase like a rug right now… after all Halloween is over, right?
So it would go in my living room, with a coffee table and maybe even a pouf or two in the future, so my friends and i i could lounge around on it and laugh about EVERYTHING!

  687. Love the Lanzetta yellow print behind her desk. If I won, this rug would look great in my living room.

  688. 1. Love the coffee table! Had to get rid of ours so that our almost 3 years old had more space to play! 2. I have a 5 week old and was unable to finish her nursery because she came a few weeks early! The rug would make such a beautiful addition to her unfinished room! P.S. Thanks for the giveaway! 694. I love the ikat chairs. And the rug (which I also love!) would be right at home in our living room :o)

  695. Firstly, I would love to thank you for this giveaway and the opportunity I had discovering Eva Chen. Lucky has always been one of my favorite magazines! If I won, I would definitely put this rug in my living room. I just moved into a new house and the living room hasn’t even begun renovations! I would LOVE to have a new rug since the carpet isn’t new. It’d be perfect under my feet since the old carpet is far from comfortable.

  696. That rug is Moroccan me crazy!! First, I am so happy that Domino Magazine came back into our lives.
I am coveting the sky blue sofa, which reminds me of the yellow sofa
Domino Magazine highlighted in their tour of Jenna Lyon’s home.
I also love the large plant (banana leaf?) in the corner of the office. Who
doesn’t need a tree inside their home? As for the rug? I have a cottage in
my backyard that I use as my closet/mama space because we live in a tiny
craftsman with 2 closets. Currently, in need of a rug as I recently moved it

  702. That white table lamp is so fun! Simple but with a fun shape, versatile for any room. I would put the rug in my living room — my husband and I just moved to a new house in preparation for having our first child, and that rug would soften up one of the most used rooms in our home!

  703. I love the pair of ikat seats by Hickory Chair. Such a fun statement. Thanks for the giveaway! The rug is beautiful.

  704. The photograph of Serge and his true love Jane capture the cool, chic essence and passion of this clearly, much loved space. Also, the black and white prints, facing the windows are playful yet striking and bold. Thoughtfully crafted decor. Love! Love! Love!

  866. The entry bench is my favorite element and bonus points for the book styling. This rug would look amazing in my black + white bedroom!

  867. The chairs are fabulous, as is the pale blue sofa. But what I really want from her office is the black purse on the bench! The rug looks so luxurious and I’d put it in my tiny living room (whole apartment is 500 sq feet) — right now I have beige builders carpet with a blah beige rug on top. Need some pattern to liven things up!

  868. Love the chairs and the pale blue sofa, but what I really want from her office is the black purse on the bench! As for the rug, I’d put it in my tiny living room (whole apartment is 500 sq feet) — I currently have builders beige carpet and a blah beige rug over it. It looks so luxurious and I could use some pattern to liven the room up!

  869. Aside from the rug, I absolutely love the big potted leafy plant – pops against the white walls and brings literal life into the space! I would use the rug in front of my bed, looks like a cozy thing to step onto in the cooler months ahead.

  870. I really love the art piece she has above the bench with her bag and shoes. I would put the rug in my living room!

  883. I’m loving that sky blue sofa and those clay gourd lamps and that rug would be perfect in my bedroom!

Oh, man, I love so much about Eva’s office space. The art is great, and I love the metal bench. If I won the rug, it would go right in my living room. If I could replace my carpet with hardwood in our bedroom, it would also be great there, but that’s on the wish list!
