Oh Joy | A Sweet Thanksgiving Cone-a-copia

Oh Joy | A Sweet Thanksgiving Cone-a-copia

One of my favorite holidays is coming up: Thanksgiving! This holiday brings together family and friends to celebrate all the wonderful things that happened this year over delicious food and lots of merriment. Plus, it jump-starts the holiday season and includes some of my favorite foods to indulge in. This year, we're hosting Thanksgiving at our house, so I wanted to come up with some simple ways to decorate the Thanksgiving table for guests using something sweet and unexpected—ice cream cones!

You can watch the how-to video below on how to make a cone-a-copia, napkin ring, and place card holder all using ice cream cones. This is my favorite video to date, so I hope you guys enjoy it!

  1. Adorable!! What a cool idea. It looks so bright and colorful. I hope it’s as easy to make as it looks in the video 🙂 What’s the glue u used to stick all the cones together? Is it edible? Also what kind of a base till you use for the centre piece? Your table looks so lovely. Thanks for sharing this cute idea 🙂

  2. Joy, this is AHH-mazing! It’s so inspiring to watch you create. I never would have thought to use ice cream cones for anything but ice cream but leave it to you to plan a whole holiday around the little suckers. 😉

  3. Joy, I agree that this is THE sweetest set-up I’ve seen! So creative. I’ve been enjoying these videos so much so thank you for taking the time to make them. 🙂 I really love place mats you used… where are they from?

  4. love these ideas! I could see using them for other occasions, too – like a bridal or baby shower! I would use something edible (like frosting?) to adhere the cones in the centerpiece and use edible flowers.

  5. I love this idea so much! I think I might have to give it a try. Plus I love the colors you chose its not the typical fall colors, but it still screams fall. Thanks for sharing!
