Dear friends, we're excited to share the news with you that we're pregnant with our 2nd baby! We have been wanting to grow our family and give Ruby a sibling, so we're thrilled to be blessed with a new baby on the way. I am 14 weeks along and due November 3rd.
Ruby is super excited to be a big sister. Here's a video we recorded last month when we first told her the news. She definitely had a lot to say…

Wow, what wonderful news! Congratulations to you all. I’m not sure that Ruby could get any more adorable but seeing her in big-sister mode might just do it! PS: Enjoy your trip to London. I didn’t weigh in with my suggestions as you had so many already and I didn’t want to overwhelm you, but I lived there for 16 years (we moved out to the country 8 months ago) and it is wonderful. If you are taking Ruby then might I suggest Kew Gardens (a lovely place and they have a great children’s play area – some of it is indoors so it’s a good option if the weather is changeable); London Zoo (they have tiger cub triplets! but go in the afternoon as they only come out around 5pm); the Princess Diana Memorial Park in Kensington Gardens and the Natural History Museum and/or Science Museum – they’re both free and right next to each other so you might be able to do both; head to the launchpad at the Science Museum for hands-on fun for kids xx

Congratulations joy! I have a 2.5 year old and just had another baby that is almost three months old now – and wow, I’ve been able to enjoy the second baby since the beginning! This video is so touching! I totally teared up with you. Ruby is such a doll. My husband thinks I’m a little crazy because I keep showing him Ruby clips. Haha. We have three girls of our own (almost, our two adopted girls arrive in 12 days!) so I’m all about the little ladies. So so sweet. Congrats!

So absolutely adorable. 🙂 We are still hoping for #2, and whenever we ask our little girl (also about Ruby’s age) if she wants a brother or sister, she always changes her mind. The one thing she doesn’t change her mind about is the name — boy or girl, she wants the baby to be named Jack. You have to wonder where they come up with these things. 🙂
