Numari-dresses

Numari-dresses

When it comes to pieces that should fit more tailored, I often have a hard time finding store-bought pieces that fit quite right (even when not pregnant). So I love that Numari's dresses are made to order with your specific measurements in mind. Today, we've partnered with them to giveaway one custom-sized dress of choice to one lucky reader (approx $200 value). I love these styles for a more dressy work environment, a cocktail party, and for layering with other, more colorful pieces on top.

To enter, simply visit Numari's website, and then leave a comment here telling me style you'd choose if you won. Entries must be posted by Monday, July 21st at 8 a.m. PST, and one winner will be chosen at random*.

Also, Oh Joy and Numari are offering a special discount for all Oh Joy readers for $25 off the first purchase using the code "OhJoy25" through July 31, 2014.

UPDATE: Congrats to Max D. from San Francisco, CA for being our winner this time!

*Sorry, limited to U.S. readers only. Please do not leave your email or web address in the body of the comment, only in the allotted boxes. $160-235 USD total value. Winner will be contacted by email once comments close, and announced at the bottom of this post soon after.

  1. I think I’d go for the angular accent sheath in hopes that it would make me look like I have my pre baby body 🙂

  2. wow, i love this idea. The dresses are pretty affordable, too. I’d go with the Classic A-line B.

  3. Love the Classic A-Line! The pattern on it is pretty, and it’s a very classic and beautiful dress.

  4. I love the Maison Lace Sheath WY! I’m in the midst of losing weight. I’ve lost over 50 pounds and am so stoked to be able to wear grown up dresses like this now!

  5. Very cool! I am really intrigued by this concept. I love the Diagonal Block Sheath. Very cool.

  6. This site is amazing for petite gals that have a hard time wearing clothing off the rack. Love the angular accent sheath.

  7. Yes! I have such a hard time with dresses as my torso is so long and my legs are short! I would love the agency sheath, perfect to upgrade my work wardrobe!

  8. What a great idea! I had no idea this site existed. I would love the Diagonal Block Sheath BG!

  9. I love the Angular Accent Sheath DBW. The color could go from winter to summer and the cut is right for both the weekend and the office. Perfect multi-tasker!

  10. I’d definitely go with the angular accent sheath. I like that it has short sleeves, as I’m a lawyer at a somewhat conservative firm.

  11. Such beautiful dresses! I’d go for the lace sheath with long sleeves. It’s brilliant to have a company that tailors clothes. Since fit and flares are much easier to buy off the rack, it makes sense to me to go with a company like this for a sheath fit.

  12. Tough time choosing between the Sophie Fit & Flare and the Diagonal Block Sheath BG. Gorgeous dresses!

  13. I love the Sophie fit and flare but I think the Diagonal Block Shift gets my vote.

  14. For me it would be the barcode shift dress. I’m drawn to anything with stripes.

  15. What a genius concept. I’d do the Agency Sheath CGB…I can imagine throwing that on for just about anything.

  16. I love the sheaths! The agency sheath is the perfect tank style, and I love the silhouette of the angular accent sheath 🙂

  17. LOVE the idea! So innovative, the dresses look so comfy. I think I’d go with the Diagonal Block Sheath BG…looks perfect for a day in the park

  18. Ooooooh – so chic and elegant! I’ve never had a custom-made dress before. I would love to win the Angular Accent Sheath BCG. I got my fingers crossed 🙂

  19. Ooh, I love the Diagonal Block Sheath BC (such a classic dress).
PS – the link to their site in your post isn’t working so I just googled them to get to the website.

  20. I love that they make to fit you . I would totally go for a long sleeved sheath. Chic!

  21. Sophie Fit & Flare! That is my dress go-to and while this girl loves a sundress, it’s so hard to find in a grown-up, four seasons kind of weight for work functions.

  22. I am torn between the Angular Accent Sheath BCG and Agency Sheath CGB! They’re both great for day-to-night! 🙂

  23. I like the diagonal block sheath, and Sophie fit and flare, but could honestly see myself wearing all of them!

  24. I can’t decide between the Maison Lace Sheath WP or the Angular Accent Sheath BCG! I love the white lace and the v-neck in the back of the Maison dress, but I also love the angular colorblocking of the angular accent dress.

  33. Initially, I thought the Sophie Fit and Flare, because I’ve got hips for days, but I think the Diagonal Block Sheath would be so awesome since it is made to my size.

  34. I like the Sophie Fit & Flare NB. The others are really attractive, but I’m not sure they’d work as well with my figure.

  35. They all are really nice, but I think that I like Maison Lace Sheath BG best. Perfect little black dress with some character.

  36. The Drop Waist BG is just the right amount of leg, colorblock, that you can dress up down and edge up.

  37. I’d love the Angular Accent black sheath – it would be very flattering! …Although I do like the diagonal block black sheath too!

  38. The diagonal block sheath is AMAZING, but I also love the mason lace sheath…would be great for my rehearsal dinner!

  39. How perfect! My torso is long so I can never wear fitted dresses with specific seams. I’d like the Diagonal Block Shift CB to wear.

  40. I think the Agency Sheath is a classic wearable piece for work, while still maintaining personality!

  41. How funny – I once played a character named “Sophie” and she wore dresses just like this one – Sophie Fit & Flare SB. Would love to win one for my own personal wardrobe. Thanks, Joy!

  49. I am tall and thin and have trouble finding dresses the right length! This would be perfect! I would get the Sophie Fit & Flare dress and where it out with friends or for work! Thanks for the giveaway and introducing me to the company!

  50. All the dresses are so beautiful!! If I must choose one, it will be Sophie Fit & Flare SB – a sexy number, but very classic.

  51. the angular accent sheath is great. i am very tall and dresses always end up way too short. i would love to have something made to size.

  52. The diagonal block sheath would be the most versatile dress! though i am tempted by the lace sheath…

I think I would pick the drop waist shift, very modest and classy!

  60. I would love to win it for my wife. The drop waist dress is more of her style.
    Thank you for the chance!

  66. Thanks for providing this awesome giveaway! After visiting Numari’s website, if I were to win I’d definitely choose the Diagonal Block Sheath BC! Good luck everyone, fingers crossed 🙂

  67. The Diagonal Block Sheath BC for sure! This is so great because as a super-super-short pear-shaped professional, it’s so hard to find well-fitting dresses.

  68. I love all the neutrals and bold geometric 60’s inspired designs! My favorite is the Diagonal Block Sheath BC. I think I would feel like I belong in the White House if I wore it.

  69. Ah my favorite is the Angular Accent Sheath CB with the pretty tan color and those black triangles! Gorgeous!

  70. I absolutely love the diagonal block sheath but the sophie fit and flare would be more flattering for me 😉

  72. Maison lace sheath! (WP) So pretty and I would never ever be able to find a dress that style that fit my measurements off the rack
