It's been a hot week here in LA, so we're pulling out our summer gear with lighter pieces that are bold and fun.
I'm still wearing a ton of button-up shirts because they make nursing (and pumping at work!) so much easier. And, give me a good pair of elastic waistband shorts that don't look like PJ's, and I'll wear them every single day!
Mama outfit / 1. LemLem shirt, 2. Target chambray shorts, 3. Target sandals, 4. BebeAndMe teething necklace.
Babe outfit / 5. Rachel Pally baby dress, 6. Mini Boden leggings, 7. Zuzii shoes.
P.S. I love this little nugget!

I am loving this top on you! I have been really loving navy blue this summer and I think the blue with this pattern is so nice!
I don’t think I need to comment on how adorable that baby of yours is!!

Don’t even get me started on this heat, woman — I’m seriously considering a move to Seattle — and the humidity — what?! I know we get super spoiled here but there’s a reason I’ve foregone a 4-bedroom house with wrap-around porch for my little Hollywood apartment. 🙂
My main reason for commenting, however, is to GASP at how big Coco has gotten. Almost 1?!? When the hell did that happen. Going to check for grey hairs now…
Haha! You and me both with the heat and the grey hairs! ;P

Gorgeous little outfits! I’m jealous that you’re enjoying summer right now – it’s winter in Australia but the weather has been surprisingly nice considering.

Hi sweet friend!
What size did you order in those cutie Target shorts? I looked on their website and they only have them available in XS and S…. thinking maybe they sold out of the other sizes or perhaps they are just available in the 2 sizes listed. Hmmm…. Would love to scoop up a pair.
I just love this series – and I don’t even have kids! Ha.
Fabulous wall too. 🙂

Hi Nally!
I wear a XS at Target 😉
Best,

Joy-does Coco like the teething necklace? I have a few chew beads ones but would love something different and more varied in color.
Hi Sarah!
Yes, she does! She likes anything rubbery and chewy right now 😉

Oh how I wish you had a little boy to dress so I could play along! You find so many incredible girl clothes, it inspires me to try and hunt for truly fun and stylish boy clothes that don’t involve trucks or dinosaurs. We’re getting ready for our family photo shoot later this month (love your post about dressing your family for those!) and I’ve been combing through more of your “dressing” posts and getting all sorts of inspired. Thank you so much! If you do ever come across boy stuff that you’re inspired by, I’d love to see! 😀
Thank you! I do more of these posts now on Instagram (lots of flats of clothing too) and trying to include more boy things too when I can!
