Oh Joy for Target Home Decor

I hope you all had an amazing holiday and new year! I'm happy to be back and starting 2016 off with a bang. Last year, we were working on some top secret new things. I'm so excited to finally reveal a peek at our newest Oh Joy! for Target collection! Our new home decor and nursery collections take Oh Joy! into the home even more and bring you items designed to add color, whimsy, and a touch of surprise.

The Oh Joy! for Target spring home decor collection (which debuts in stores and online February 7th) is made up of 20 pieces from vases to pillows to end tables to brass party animals. I wanted to create a collection of cheerful home décor pieces that were grounded in bright colors and quirky details. Check out a few of my favorites above!

The Oh Joy! for Target nursery collection (which debuts in select stores and online now in early January) includes 26 items for your babe's new space ranging from crib bedding to swaddles to changing pad covers to diaper bags. I love creating nurseries that a baby will sleep, play, and grow with. In this collection, we mixed fun icons, mix-and-match prints, and notes of whimsy to create a truly lovable space that both parents and their little ones will enjoy.

Next Monday, January 11th, I'll be sharing a more detailed look at more of the products LIVE on Periscope. So if you're not yet on Periscope, sign up and follow me @ohjoy so you can be alerted to the live broadcast and watch it in real time (or within 24 hours while the broadcast is still up)!

I can't wait for you to see them in person and stock up on your favorite pieces! You'll be able to see it all at as they arrive.

  1. Joy, how exciting. The collection looks fabulous & I can’t wait to check it all out. Specially the nursery collection 🙂 Couldn’t have come at a better time. Yay! Already loving the bright polka dot theme for the nursery collection. Can’t wait to see it! A big congrats!!!

  2. Everything looks amazing, Joy! I love all the colors you chose for this collection. I’ll definitely be snagging up the home decor pieces. Love all the touches of gold. What an adorable baby collection as well! Can’t wait to see everything in stores. Congrats!

  3. Congratulations Joy! All of the items look amazing! My favorite are the gold party animals! I only wish there were Target stores in Argentina! xoxo Mel

  4. i CANNOT wait for this!!! so happy for you. i’ll have to hunt down the closest target to me in nyc (which i think is pretty far away) once everything is out

  5. Amazing!! So, so cute. I love many of these beautiful items!! I sincerely hope that Target is planning to actually stock a decent amount of your designs. I find it all too frequent with them that they release these wonderfully designed items and they are nowhere to be found. 🙁

  6. Thank you so much! I’m really excited about this as I just moved in a new apartment that is dying for lighting in general! YAY! Your blog and work in amazing which I visit on a daily basis 🙂

  7. I’m not going to lie, I woke up excited to see what you came up with! I got a Target card for Christmas and I told my husband we are saving it for her line. He loves your color palette too so he was totally on board. Can’t wait for February!

  8. oopsie. I see in a previous comment that you did. I’m saving my Target gift card I got for Christmas to buy everything:)

  9. Yay! I’m also putting in my request for a “behind the scenes” or “the making of” post like last time!

  10. You have outdone yourself once again Joy. This collection is stunning and while most of it is centered around children, I find my 31 year old self wanting to own it! From the adorable script pillows to the gold animal statues, everything is fun and filled with style!
Congrats on the new collection and I will be paying my local Target a visit very soon!

  14. Oh man, the nursery collection is making me want another babe :/ and I’m already three deep! Ha. Simply adorable.

  15. Hi Farina,
The dresser was a DIY that was made by the stylist for the shoot. It’s easy to recreate with a white or vintage dresser and a few shades of paint.

  16. Love the color and prints! I’m so happy you’ve partnered with Target so that the items are affordable and easily accessible! Have a great year, Joy!

  17. I’m so excited for this! I was at my local target yesterday and saw some of the prints out on the shelves… so naturally I went cruising around the store looking for the rest of the home items, nothing else yet. I stockpiled on the oh joy party hats last year and am going to incorporate some of the new line items with the old ones for our baby girl’s 1st bday in may. 🙂

  18. What an amazing collection!! I wish I could buy it all! I’m trying to figure out a way to buy online and have it shipped to me here in Australia… I love it all!

  19. Beautiful! I can’t wait for more items to arrive (like the little animals picture above) I have a perfect use for them in Feb. 🙂 Congratulations!

  20. I’m guessing the rattan chair in that pic is also not from target? Bummer if it isn’t! Congrats on another great collection!

  21. I have been refreshing the Target website and see that there are 30 individual products from the line for purchase there. Will the neon heart eventually be available for sale on the website?

  22. With the stores would make more gender neutral things these days. I know most people find out the gender of a baby, but a lot of people still want to be surprised and don’t want things with so much pink or blue. I love the yellow and teal items, but I can’t fathom buying and using things with so much hot pink and hot orange for a boy.

  23. Hey there!
Yes, there are 2 gender sets – the ABC and the City set and meant to be for those who may not know the gender or don’t want anything too blue or pink.

  24. Great article and love all the products you’ve displayed for the nursery. Love the plates and the gold plated “OK”. 🙂
If you or your readers would like to add a bit of a colour in the nursery, I would highly recommend this beautiful multicolored felt ball rug. It is neutral so suits for both boys or girls nursery.
We have rugs that suits for girls and /or boys. You can also custom design your own rug to match the colour of your nursery.

  25. Hi Joy! I love your collection! I can’t find the flamingo items on the website, are they available?

  26. Hey Courtney,
The flamingos are part of a small refresh to the nursery collection coming in March. I’ll be sure to announce on social!

  27. Love the little brass animals, they are so cute! Are they solid brass or plated over ceramic? They look nice and big. Almost reminds me of Walter Bosse’s brass animals!

  28. Love the yellow giraffe figurine on the shelf in the nursery (goes well with the dots) – will that be part of the Target collection? If not, where can I find him.

  29. Hi! Love this collection! Are the pieces being staggered for release? Only some are available on the website at this point still. I want to buy the whole lot dammit!
