We all have scraps of wrapping paper leftover from those gifts we've loving wrapped and given. Sometimes you buy a roll of beautiful paper only to see leftover slivers get tossed in the trash. So we created these colorful and (super easy to make) pieces of wall art using those scraps that won't go to waste again!
We created a few different collaged pieces using a variety of wrapping paper scraps and put them in frames afterwards to make them feel more elevated.
You'll need:
-wrapping paper scraps
-a frame
–mod podge & paint brush
–gold leaf kit (optional)
Here's how:
1. Group your wrapping paper scraps by color and compile together a combination that you like. We recommend sticking to a certain color palette so that it feels more cohesive than a mix of all colors.
2. Tear the paper into strips and shapes of your choice.
3. Using mod podge under and over each piece, paint a thin layer over the strips of paper, and mount them to foam core that match the size of your frame. Continue to layer until you're happy with it.
4. Pop the piece into the frame and display! We left the glass out of the frame but you can use with our without the glass on top.

This is such a brilliant idea! I never know what to do with the left over awkward pieces of paper. This would be so much fun to do for Christmas decor!

I just love this idea!! I not only have little bits of leftover wrapping paper around, I also have a little collection of vintage wallpaper that I’m always wondering what to do with. This is perfect for both!!

So amazed with how chic these look!
This is awesome! Never thought of doing something like that with the scraps. I always just save them just “in case” I have a small package later to wrap (which never happens) lol.
