Table runners are one of my favorite go-to tabletop items to make a dinner or brunch look put together really quickly. It adds a pop of color without being too fancy like a full-on tablecloth. So we turned a plain, inexpensive runner into something much cooler to have on hand for our next gathering! See how…
You'll need:
– acrylic paint
– flat paint brush
– ruler
– pencil
Here's how:
1. Measure out 2 inch strips all the way down the runner.
2. For crisp edges, use tape along the sides of the strip. Or you can freehand the stripes if you feel comfortable doing so.
3. Paint each strip in the color order that you'd like.
4. Let dry for 1 hour.
How cute is that?
A quick tip: this piece is not meant to be washed in washing machine. You can spot clean with a damp cloth. And, if you want it to be extra durable, you can use fabric paint instead of acrylic paint.

Bright & colorful!
Love how easy this idea is. Looking at it on IG, I was a bit intimidated, but it’s simple and the results are beautiful!

That’s the best – when it’s easier than it looks! ;P

Super cute! I love the pop of color – so fitting for the summertime!
Did you know there is a fabric paint medium you can buy to mix in with acrylic paint so you can use your existing paint stash on fabrics like real fabric paint?
