For our very last and final Color Adventures this year, we've created a sparkly, metallic bar filled to the brim with…DISCO BALLS! Here's how to recreate this at home…
In the past, many design rules said not to mix metallics. But we think rules like that are meant to be broken. You can certainly mix metallics if you have a good distribution of each metallic within a space. Here, we mixed both gold and silver with the silver disco ball arch as the focal point.
We used tiny disco balls to fill terrariums and domed containers to sit on top of the credenza. If you have a wide cylindrical glass vases, those work great, too!
Since the metallic is the star of the show, keep everything else neutral with greys and whites in base furniture and wall color. We also added in a rich navy velvet for a bit of texture.
