I'm wearing bold stripes for this month's pattern adventures! From dresses to comfy tops and lots of striped accessories, I'm showing you four different ways to put a fun twist on this classic print. Take a look…
Peachy-keen — I love this outfit because it's super casual but has a lot of personality. I brought in stripes with a relaxed cotton button-up shirt and added a fun multi-colored striped clutch for an extra pop of color. The 'Be Nice' jacket is one of my new favorites, and it accents the shirt perfectly without being too matchy-matchy. And of course, no outfit is complete without metallic glitter booties!
Peachy-keen: Machete earrings, Ban.do jacket, J.Crew shirt, Lillian Farag clutch purse, J.Crew jeans, Ban.do boots.
Vertical Horizon — This dress is my new go-to piece for day or night! It's so easy to throw on and you can easily dress it up with a chunky necklace (this one doubles as a teething necklace!), cute circle purse, and gold metallic mules. And if you want to wear it in the evening, just add a jacket and you're ready to go!
Vertical Horizon: Zara dress, January Moon necklace, Clare V. purse, Loeffler Randall shoes.
Stripes on Stripes — This dress is super comfy and effortless while also looking put together and fun! (It also almost looks like it's two pieces, but it's just one!) Because the lines on the dress are thin, I added a scarf with jumbo stripes in complimentary colors to accent the orange and navy striped dress. To complete the look, I slipped on some gold metallic shoes with gold bow detailing. Last weekend, I wore this outfit to a baby shower and then around town with the kids, and it was perfect for both occasions!
Stripes on Stripes: Zara scarf, Zara dress, Mari Gidudicelli shoes.
Bold Yet Subtle — The stripes here are color-blocked so at first glance it might not looked striped, but it is, I promise ;). It's such a fun, bold dress that I wanted the accessories to also be bright and bold. So I grabbed a rainbow striped bag (shop the kids section for better deals!) and multi-color pom-pom earrings for some texture. I kept the shoes neutral in silver, but made sure they had a little pizzaz with tassels.
Subtle Stripes: Marley & Alfie earrings, Zara dress, Zara bag (past season), Loeffler Randall shoes (past season).
Which of these striped outfits would you wear?!
