We just added these glittery swizzle sticks to the Oh Joy! shop because they are one of my favorite ways to quickly add sparkle to party decor and simply brighten every day. Here are five (creative) ways to use them…

1. Use them as gift toppers! Make your gift even more special with a little treat on top! I love wrapping presents with something a little extra, and swizzle sticks are perfect because they add sparkle to your gift instantly while being useful after the gift is opened.

2. Use them as skewers! For a party or brunch with friends, use them as you would skewers. It also makes for a fun way to display treats like donut holes or mini brownies!

3. Put them in a bouquet! Flowers are pretty much the best to receive anytime. You can add a few swizzle sticks for an unexpected and playful touch.

4. Stick them on top of a cake (or any dessert!). They make the PERFECT cake toppers. We've used them countless times in the Oh Joy! Office on ice cream, donuts, cakes, cupcakes, cookies…basically any treat to help celebrate a special occasion. You can use one or multiple toppers to add to the festivities.

5. Use them as stir sticks! This is how most people use swizzle sticks for mixed drinks, but we love adding it to any kind of drink—lemonade, sparkling soda, and anything summery and fresh! It's the easiest way to dress up a drink and make a party feel special in no time!
