While rainbows can seem youthful, I love them so much and love interpreting what a rainbow outfit could look like in a more grown-up way! So, I'm wearing a few different versions of the theme in this month's Rainbow Pattern Adventures…
Granny Chic — This dress sort of looks like something one of the Golden Girls would wear. But with a little cinching at the waist and paired with some cool accessories, it gets a fresh look for 2018. This vintage dress has such a fun, textural pattern. I continued the rainbow theme with striped socks for an unexpected pop of color and paired them with silver heels.
Granny Chic: Each to Own earrings, vintage dress, Hozen bag, Ban.do socks, Loeffler Randall shoes (past season).
Circus Cool — The bold stripes of this jumper remind me of cool clown's outfit! This piece is super easy to wear and makes such a fun, bold statement. Since it's so colorful, I paired it with neutrals—metallic shoes, a white denim jacket, and fun silver glitter sunglasses.
Circus Cool: JCrew sunglasses, Anine Bing white denim jacket, Noonworks jumpsuit (past season), Zuzii clogs (similar).
Somewhere Over the Rainbow — This pastel rainbow dress is so flowy and fun and the most literal version of a rainbow of these three looks! You can dress it down or up depending on where you're going. I paired it with bright yellow heels and a sparkly sequin cover for an extra dose of glam. I continued the rainbow theme with a striped clutch in complimentary deeper hues.
Sparkle on Top: Zara sequin cover, Pleiades dress, Lillian Farag clutch (past season), JustFab shoes (past season).
