We’re back with our last pattern adventures for the month with a star-studded party! We went with a sophisticated and fun “starry night” theme for this one, and it’s perfect for grown-ups, kids, holiday parties, award season…pretty much anytime, anywhere 😉 See more details right here…
You can never have too many stars. We went ALL out with the star-theme and brought in a ton of different star-shaped decor that varied in size but were all metallic to help keep it consistent. We used fun star balloons, star-shaped plates and plates with star prints, garlands that we used for table decor, and giant silver fringe stars that we made ourselves (DIY here!).
We grounded the space with navy walls and a matching navy tablecloth. This made it feel a little like the night sky and allowed us to get creative with the star decor. For an extra does of shine, we added in disco balls as a centerpiece.
Add in some neutrals! To help balance and break up the navy and metallics, we added in blush and white details throughout. Some of the star plates and metallics have a blush tone, too, which helps bring some color to the space and adds a fun iridescent element to the party.
