Although February might be super chilly outside, here at Oh Joy! we've been all about warm tonal colors for this month's Color Adventures! We used red, green, blue, and yellow to create a cozy bedroom all within the warm toned color-scheme. Here are few styling tips and questions to ask yourself when creating a space like this of your own… 

1. What's the focal point? The duvet cover is the main inspiration piece for the space, so we let it do most of the talking. All the colors fit perfectly into the warm toned color-scheme, and it adds a bold pop of pattern and color to the space. Since we knew we'd be styling the space with warm colors, we decided to go cool with the walls and painted one a muted blush and the other a neutral grey.  

2. What makes you smile? The art work on the walls include a mix of canvas prints and framed prints that mix in the warm tonal colors. We especially love the "This Is A Good Day" print because the blush background compliments the blush wall behind the bed, and it sets the tone for a great day ahead.

3. What neutral pieces will you love over time? We love incorporating natural and neutral elements into any space, such as wood. We used dark wood furniture pieces throughout this room, like the dresser and bench, to help it feel warm and cozy. These are pieces that you can use forever even when you change up your bedding every so often.

And there you have a warm-toned bedroom that's cheerful for these chilly almost-spring days and nights!
