Happy Friday! Today, we're showing you a sneak peek at the magic that went into creating our latest Instagram post where we turned my mini van into a colorful PARTY VAN! Take a look at what goes on behind the frame…

We used tons of honeycombs, streamers, disco balls, fishing wire, tape…and the creativity of the Oh Joy! team to bring it to life! It was so fun to see the transformation take place, and I only wish I could drive around the city with honeycombs bursting out of my car all day long!

When we were dreaming up this post, we wanted to find a super fun wall to shoot in front of. It was tricky, though, because although we know of a lot of pretty, brightly painted walls in Los Angeles, it had to be large enough for my van…which most are not. So, we photographed the scene in our office parking lot, and, Angie, our designer, used a little photoshop magic to turn this not-so-great beige wall into a softer blush backdrop.
