Today we have a really fun DIY for you that is perfect for spring! I love bringing in bright pops of color year round, but sometimes I want to kick it up a notch during spring when everything is bright and in bloom. So, if you're looking for a fun way to incorporate some cheer into your home, here's how to take plain hanging lights and turn them into colorful pompom lights! Check it out…  

You'll need…
– pendant lights (small, medium, large)
– acrylic paint
– yarn
– pom pom maker
– scissors
– painter's tape

Here's how…
1. Paint a layer of white on the top half of each pendant. Let dry 20 minutes.
2. Paint each pendant the color you like. Let dry 30 minutes. To add a little extra, we decided to color block the yellow light using painter's tape.
3. Make 5-6 poms for each light using the pom maker.
4. Use a strand of yarn to tie the pom to the bottom of the light, staggering the height of the poms.

Voila! You can pick your colors and decide how you want to paint the lights. We hung them in a trio for extra light and to make a bold statement piece. We love it in a kid's room, a reading nook, or over a table like we did here!
