We're back with another themed kid's room! This one is safari-inspired with lots of animals, leafy greens, and lush textures. If you or your mini me adores animals, this is a fun space to create for them. Check it out…

Wallpaper! The adhesive palm wallpaper inspired this entire space! A fun trick when styling with wallpaper is to apply it to only the bottom half the wall (versus the entire thing). We then added mint to the top half because it compliments the color scheme without being too matchy-matchy. It almost looks like a pretty pale sky 😉

Rug! This rug inspired the general color scheme for the room. Instead of using an animal print or something to specific to the theme, we decided to mix things up a bit with this eclectic bohemian rug. It adds a nice dash of texture to the space as well. 

Small accessories! As with any themed room, it's fun to carry the theme throughout with accessories! We added in lots of fun animal decor items (books, stuffed animals, artwork, pillows, bedding, and toys – just to name a few!). The trick is to make sure that there is enough about the space that supports the theme but isn't too on-the-nose. By keeping the furniture neutral and bringing in pattern that goes with everything (like the polka dot sheets, for example), we then have the ability to choose bigger decor items that can go with everything and grow with your little one as they do.

Plants! Finally, what's a jungle safari themed room without lots of PLANTS!? We sprinkled them throughout the space to add dimension, texture, and color. If you have small toddlers that might tug at plants, keep them high up on a shelf out of reach.
