Happy Friday! This year, we're mixing up our Color Adventures by bringing in a dose of Pattern Adventures, too! Each month this year, instead of picking just a color or pattern, we're combining the two together. For January, we're styling with abstract patterns and lots of GREEN! For this office, we wanted green to be the main focus…but subtly so (not green ALLLL over the place). So we brought in few staple green pieces that really stand out (like the rich green chair and footstool). To carry the theme throughout the space, we included lots of smaller green accent pieces—like the plants and artwork. Then, we balanced the office with neutral and complimentary colors to ground the room. 

We added in lots of abstract patterns through artwork and throw pillows. Even when styling on a theme, it's important to mix-in a few other elements so the space isn't floor-to-ceiling one thing only (unless that is the look you're going for!). We mixed in abstract prints and paintings but made sure the center artwork broke it up a bit (and used a beautifully painted portrait). 

To give the office a warm, welcoming feeling, we styled with velvet furniture and warm camel and rust colors! We also included lots of wood elements, gold accents, and lush textures!
