While you've been seeing updates on my house progress, there's one room in the Oh Joy! office that was finished a while ago that we've never revealed to you! My office bathroom! We revealed my Executive Office exactly two years ago. And, just like any renovation, all this stuff takes time and money so it took a bit before this room became something more special than what it was…

Here's the "BEFORE" photo! It was a nice unexpected treat to have a bathroom in my office when we moved into our current Oh Joy office back in December 2016. While I couldn't spend the money to get all new plumbing fixtures, we made a handful of other updates including adding in our Oh Joy! for Clé tile, adding in beautiful Cedar and Moss lighting, and wallpaper from Juju Papers. Those were really the three main additions that made this space feel much more special. Take a look at all the details close-up below…

While the all over wallpaper could be seen as a lot in a small space, I love how much character it gives this small bathroom. It makes it such that it doesn't need too much other decor to give it a personality and life!

Because this is a rental, I wasn't planning to do any major gut renovations here and left both the original toilet and sink. In order to have a space to hold bathroom accessories, we added in a bedside table which works perfectly both for accessing things at seat height as well as standing height. A simple round mirror and a few pieces of art top it off for a fun and playful bathroom that complements the office in which it sits.
