Oh Joy Neapolitan Cookies

When I went to Japan back in 2010, I fell madly in love with all things matcha. My favorite was a matcha soft serve that I got from a vendor in Kyoto and have never been able to replicate again here in the States. In the meantime, I’ve explored all the matcha things and wanted to share some favorites with you…

Art of Tea Matchasticks—These are an easy go-to for a classic up of matcha tea in the morning. Simply add hot water (and a little sugar if you want!) and it gives you the bit of pep you need for the day.

Matcha Milk Jam by Hotaru Foods—Milk Jam is one of my favorite things to put on toast, and I love this matcha version. Use it on toast, cookies, crackers…anything where you’d normally add peanut butter, jam, or nutella!

Matcha Cherry Cake Kit by The Caker—I’m always on a mission to find cakes that aren’t too sweet, and this one combines a matcha cake with fresh cherries for an amazing combo you’ve never had before!

Sweety Matcha Mochi Ice Cream—Often when pure matcha seems to intense for some, mochi ice cream is a great way to get a small and extra sweet bite of it.

Copper Cow Matcha Latte—I love Copper Cow’s coffee lattes, and this matcha version makes for an easy way to make a cup at home with great ingredients.

Pop and Bottle Almond Milk Matcha Latte—For an on-the-go cold latte version, Pop & Bottle makes a nice one and available at your local fancy grocery store.

Matcha Kit Kats—These used to be a rare find in the States, but now you can find them a lot of Asian grocery stores and now even some American ones! A fun update to a classic snack.

Kettl Matcha Chocolate—Experts of matcha, I had their matcha soft serve parfait when visiting their shop in Brooklyn which was topped with pieces of this incredible matcha chocolate!

  1. Hi! Do we have to keep the matcha milk jam in the fridge after opening? And does it revert back to the milky consistency after refrigerating it?
