Style Tips: Happy in Heels

Was I the only one who didn’t wear heels for a few years? Pandemic life gave me no motivation for it, but now I’m ready to get back into the heel game!

Was I the only one who didn’t wear heels for a few years? Pandemic life, then post-pandemic life gave me no motivation for it….ha! But now that we’re out and about again, I’m all about that little bit of height (as long as it’s mixed with comfort!). Our Farrah heels combine both, and I wanted to show you how you can wear a shoe that has a fun pattern with lots of different pieces in your wardrobe. Here are a few ideas for you…

Outfit 1 – Let the Shoes Shine
When you have a colorful or patterned shoe, you can choose to let the shoes be the star of the show by combining them with neutral pieces. This slate blue dress is easy to wear and offers a “neutral” solid while still being a nice and soft color.

Outfit 2 – Bold and Complimentary
Now, let’s go the opposite direction with a bright and very bold color. The dress is the focus of this outfit, yet still works with the heels because the pastel shades from the shoe compliment the dress without them competing with each other.

Outfit 3 – Pattern Mix!
Mixing patterns is often the hardest thing for people to try, but it’s one of my go-to style tips. Patterns can mix when the two (or three) patterns you are wearing have different scales or different color intensities. So, the soft and subtle pattern from the shoes has a much different scale and color balance than the bold and bright large scale striped pattern of the dress.
