Design Style vintage jewelry made new April 24, 2006 Lisa Salzer of Lulu Frost creates one-of-a-kind pieces from found period antiques, including long-lost room numbers from the legendary Plaza Hotel, cut steel shoe buckles from the 1890’s, forgotten keys, and more. And, her website is really cool…
ooh i know her! she was part of the magazine article new york magazine did on “27 under 26”. i stood next to her in the photos- she had FABULOUS purple pumps. i wouldn’t expect any less from someone that creative.
love this. there is another designer in NYC who does something similar and i have one of her pieces. i think the name of her company is urban rose. she sells at the annex flea market
wow, what a rad website!
great link – and thanks for a wonderfull blog that I read daily and which inspires me greatly 🙂
another great find!
I love her stuff, and it’s amazing that she was the first one to snatch up those Plaza pieces and create beautiful things.
