I’m often drawn to artists who have a playful hand in their work. Souther Salazar’s work has a child-like yet thoughtful feel to it. I love the layering and use of muted colors. For those of you in New York, Salazar is having an opening at Giant Robot this Saturday, May 20th. Click here for show details.
i love this! i love being introduced to new artists. thanks joy!
i’ll have to stop by the show.

i’m a long time fan of souther’s work. too bad i won’t be in ny in time for his show.
I’m such a sucker for art framed in all different interesting frames clustered together on a wall.
I love this work, I will have to go check it out next week.
